PROLOGUE
I looked right into her clear golden eyes which were wide with curiosity. Stepping closer to her, I felt her breath against the skin of my neck and every nerve of my body woke to the slight act.
My eyes burned into her eyes and I held her hand, mortified that I would scare her away.
My eyes wondered to her rose colored cheeks. She looked breathtaking tonight. The summer wind blew her dark brown hair elegantly into her face.
I was glad that she came tonight.
Most of all, I was crazy about this girl. I knew it was going to be her. I know that it is her. That it will only be her.
And she had to know this.
"Lexy.." I began, my eyes piercing though her eyes. My hand holding her elegant fingers carefully as though in my mind she might break any moment.
"You don't have to do this Evan" She sighed breaking the previously locked gazes.
She knew.
I felt my heart stop.No.
"I have to do this Lex" I whispered closing my eyes. I held my head down so our foreheads touch. The contact sent shivers down my spine. I have never been this close to her.
"I was fine right before I met you, never hurt and nothing could control me" I began and Lexi raised her head to look into my eyes. Even the sight of her sent chills down my spine.
I can't loose her. Not now. Not ever.
"I was terrified at first. Terrified that you'd find my heart and break it" Finding my voice I spoke helplessly before looking back into her eyes.
"And now you have it. And I don't care of how much you might hurt me" I halted a bit, making sure my words sank in.
"Because.I.Want.You"I sighed loudly. My eyes burning with affection, I craved for her.
"I shouldn't have fallen in love with you" I smiled as shock outlined her pretty face making her look beautiful.
"It has been nothing but trouble till now. I shouldn't have fallen in love at all" I walked back a few steps still looking at her eyes. My heart melt at the sight of her confused face.
"But I couldn't stop myself. I can't stop myself Lexi" I sighed and let my eyes wonder off into the waves which were crashing the shore right behind Alexis before walking up to her again.
"Alexis Elizabeth Richter. What gives you the right to tear up my life just like that."
My voice rang out each word as I came stood in front of Lexi and gripped her shoulders tenderly. Her skin felt as soft as silk in my hand. Her eyes confused and lost. Right there I swore my heart stopped.
"How dare you be so perfect Alexis Elizabeth Richter?" ...
