Skylar's POV:
My nickname is "Miss. Perfect." Maybe because I am a perfectionist, or maybe it's because I'm a straight A student, or most likely it's because my parents pressure me to be this perfect daughter so I can follow through with THEIR dreams for my life... The reason behind the nickname doesn't necessarily matter, the point is I hate that nickname.
Ever since I was little my parents have had this huge dream for me to finish school with all A's, to go to college and study medicine, and then become the world's greatest doctor... Why? I couldn't tell you. Maybe it's so my parents can feel satisfied with the only child they were able to have.
I was suppose to have an older brother and an older sister, but sadly my mom miscarried. Then I was born as the "miracle baby" after doctors told my mom she was incapable of having children. So maybe that's the reason for the nickname...
Anyway, I'm going back to school soon, which means the pressure of being Miss. Perfect is back on. Thankfully for me I have a lot of friends at school that have my back, except for the schools "badass" but we'll get into that later...
