It was early October and the sun was setting in the small town of Dead rock cove. The town looked like it was hidden away as the darkness of the night slowly covers it. The old black rustic style street lamps gave a faint white light that cascades over the cobblestone streets with a silent hum.
The streets were nearly deserted as the people hurried to get home before all the light was gone. As the cold gentle breeze swept through the streets of Dead rock cove, a crisp white page was lightly torn from its spot on a streetlamp and was carried through the breeze like a ballerina on ice, graceful and slow.
The paper swept through the streets and passed through the strong dark evergreen trees that are dispersed through the town. The paper slowly fell down infront of a streetlamp on meadow creek path.
A teenager walked briskly through the night trying to make it home before her brother could hound her about being out this late on a school night. She walked down meadow creek path when she noticed the paper on the other side of the street. Out of curiosity she slowly walked over to where the paper lay.
Written in fancy cursive black writing the paper reads " Arkville Artshow is coming back to Dead rock cove for the last time on October 27th,2017 before it ends its tour back in Arkville,Canada where it will stay stationary. Tickets will be sold at the door for $30 per person starting at 7:00pm-10:00pm. The show will take place in the Golden Ringfellow art academy located on crestfallen dove street." Along with the information showed several different depictions of art that were drawn to perfection, one picture stood out the most. It showed dark trees that looked like it was slowly burning as children played ring around a rosy under it.
It was drawn so perfectly the girl couldn't help but think of the inspiration the artist saw that caused it. The teen quickly stuffed the page into her green trench coat before resuming her long walk home. You could hear a faint whisper that said " Welcome to the Artshow ".
