Introduction
Ever since I was a little girl, I always saw myself as the lucky one. I was the only child my parents had which at times was nice but don't get me wrong it could get very lonely, but I had a loving mother and father to make up for that. Materialistic things have never really been that important to me, though it can easily be said that I have always been better off than most, but that doesn't make me spoilt. I was raised by parents who believed in earning success and so that always tort me to aim higher in order to achieve what I wished for.
There was one problem though, it is tough for me to aim for what i want as what I dream to become isn't exactly what my parents would class as an on going or achievable career as in their eyes it was seen as not having a high success rate. They would see it as a dead end, fun whilst it lasted type thing. You see i love photography. It inspires me. The creativity that can be produced within a single photo amazes me. So much can be captured, something so small can mean so much, but that's just my opinion and it's what i love to do.
My father is the manager of a company that I wasn't sure of as he never really spoke about it, so I've never bothered to question him. As for my mother, she has her own retail business, where her herself designs and makes the products that she later sells, she also runs her own bakery, which by the way in case you're interested her cakes are like a taste of heaven.
Because of their jobs I do get to see them but not as often as I'd like to. It always seemed that the older I became the more time they spent away working. Them not being around all the time never stopped them from pushing me to the limits to achieve the best though, they both wanted the best for me and they wanted me to do well in all my exams throughout school and now that i am in college they expect even better so that I am prepared for uni.
After that they both want me to join the business life either along side them or even making a name for myself. They want me to aim for something that would make me top of my game but they don't understand that all I want is cameras and locations. they don't understand that photography is everything to me, I'm into landscape photography which I believe captures the world in a whole new light, this type of photography makes our surroundings seem so beautiful even when we shade it with so such darkness.
It is because of photography that I believe we should follow beauty rather then run from it, I also have a weakness for wedding photography as I like to capture the love that can be shown when two souls make that final commitment to be together for the rest of there lives, it is so touching so emotional, its just so beautiful.
Anyways enough of me going on about that stuff, today is my first day back at college I'm starting my second year and I am so excited. New year fresh start hopefully it will be better then the last....
