20| Moving on is not what I expected

I was ready to go meet my new friends at the beach with Mollee. We were just packing up to go.

"Suncream?" I yelled to Mollee that was on the other corner of the room.

"Done."

"Towel."

"Done."

"Where are you going?" asked Ross who was laying by the door looking intriguing at us.

"Going to meet some friends we met yesterday." Mollee said because I was clearly not answering him.

"I heard they have some hot guys going with them." I smirked teasingly.

"Whatever." Ross shouted angrily and walked away.

"What was that all about?" Mollee asked while she packed up.

"I discovered that I have the gift to tease him. And I find it really amusing!" I explained grinning.

"Huh, that is only because he likes you!" I smirked suggestively at that.

"I don't know... I mean... I kind of know he does but I just can't believe in it. And he still has Maia so there is nothing I can do about it." I placed my hand on my temple rubbing it hard and thinking about the situation.

"Oh, Laura I just tell you, I know he does have feelings for you. Stronger that what he has for Maia, but I guess he can't understand it." I lifted my head down.

"I know. Not for sure but it is a possibility." I hated the fact that I couldn't see that.

"Look I was thinking about what happen in prom and I wanted to apologize, I never meant to get into your life, you know. I was tired of seeing you hurt, that is all."

"I know." I smiled sadly and the. turn myself to hug her. "I know that just perfectly."

I saw her smile while we went out of the house and stepped to the beach to find it very empty. I saw Ari, Kayla and Phoe walking over to us with 3 other guys and one more girl, and one of them was oddly familiar.

"Hey, girl." Kayla greeted us with the warmest smile as the others approached in our direction, greeting us too.

"These are Garret, Kent, Jordan and Chrissie." She pointed to them. Garret, whoa I remember him. He was the guy that came to talk to me on that day on the beach with Ross.

"Who is up for a swim?" Garret said as we managed to get to their little place. Everybody screamed to the water and didn't stop until they were wet to the bones.

We swam a little, and have fun. They were all crazy, witch fitted perfectly in me.

When all the girls were done with swimming, we headed our towels and let the boys play more.

"So, lets talk about what he left in the water." Kayla said smirking.

"What did we left in the water?" I thinkably said.

"Boys... all of them!" Phoe understood her clearly.

"Is there any boys of your interest?" Ari smiled spreading out those words.

"Mollee has a boyfriend. And I'm complicated." I explained.

"How so?" Phoe managed to quickly say.

"Well, she likes her best friend." Mollee said.

"Ohh." they all commented.

"And they already kissed three times."

"Ohh."

"And he has a girlfriend."

"Oh my God. Really?" a shocked Kayla said.
