Anna's POV

I woke up to see that I was still very much pregnant and sighed.

I really wanted this baby out of my body. Even though I'm really excited to finally meet and hold my baby, I can't help but be a little bit grumpy that two weeks after my due date, I still looked like a beach ball.
I looked down at Ben who slept with his mouth slightly open. I'm so not going to be up by myself.
So I nuged him.

"Ben, wake up." He didn't budge. "Baby." I whined poking his cheek. "Your very much pregnant wife needs attention." I said trying my best to sit on his lap with him still laying down.
"Oh, hey." He said, smiling lazily at me. "This is a good sight to wake up to." He took my hand in his and laced our fingers together. I smiled looking at our hands but soon pouted.
"But this sight isn't." I said looking down at my baby bump.
"Still nothing?" He asked, trying to sit up with me still on his lap. I shook my head still pouting. "You know... We could fix that."
"How?" I asked turning my head to the side quizzically.
"Well, I remember the doctor saying sex helps." He looked at me hopeful.
I smiled.
"Yeah..." I pecked his lips. "We're not doing it."

With some difficulty I got out of the bed and walked straight to the kitchen.
Well, I kinda stopped at the stairs because I couldn't see my feet and I didn't want to fall.

"Baby! The stairs again!" I called out and heard his laughter from the bedroom and his steps soon got closer.
"Okay, I'm here." His hand went to my waist and he guided me down.
"Remind me again, why do we have stairs?" I said sitting on a stool in the kitchen.
"Because you wanted to." He smiled cockly.
"You're so funny." I sarcastically said while taking my phone.

As I scrolled through my phone trying to find a way to spill this human out of me, I could hear Ben cooking in the background.
I smelt eggs and when I looked up from the phone I saw a plate with two sausages and scrambled eggs in front of me.
I got up and got the hot sauce, as I sat back down, Ben made a disgusted face.

"You're putting hot sauce on your eggs?" He asked and I nodded.
"I read that it helps induce labor." I said putting as much hot sauce as I could.

Turns out spicy food didn't work. And I went back to searching to get this labor going.

"Baby!" I yelled out.
I heard his rushed steps coming my way.
"What? Are you okay? Did you go into labor?" He rushed to say.
"I wish." I muttered. "Actually, I just read that walking helps." I said walking towards him. "Put on some running shoes, cause we're going to get this baby ready."
"We? Why do I have to go?" I looked at him pointedly. "I'm going. No need to tell me twice." I smiled at him as he left to go get ready.
"Don't forget to come back here! I need help putting on my shoes!" I shouted after him.
"Yes, honey!" I giggled as I sat down to wait for him.

I held my hand up in the air and bent down as much as I could to breathe. We had been walking for at least 40 minutes and I don't think this baby is any closer to coming out as it was before.

"I don't wanna do this anymore." I said, still catching my breath.
"But this was your idea."
"And it was a bad one. Get over it, Ben." I said. I stood back up and rested my hand on my belly. "You need to leave. Get out. Now." I said pointing at it. Didn't work. "Let's go home, baby." He hugged my waist to help me get supported because I was dying.
Who knew walking was so tiring? Not doing that again.

When we got home, I decided I was not giving up. This baby is coming out and is coming out today.
So I started to walk around the house and up the stairs. I had already gone up and down the stairs five times and I felt no change.

"Babe, I'm tired just from looking at you." Ben said form the couch.
"Well, maybe you should start helping me instead of just sitting there." I said going up the last two steps and stopping to take a breath.
"You know, we could always..." He trailed off.
"You already know the answer to that." I said and started to make my way down the stairs holding on to the railing for dear life.

7pm. It is 7pm. And guess what? I. Am. Still. Pregnant.
Nothing worked. I don't know what to anymore. I told Ben to go buy me indian and mexican food, didn't work. We walked around the block twice, nothing. I pratically walked the whole world round just inside the house, and still nothing.
I was now laying on the couch, Ben by my side, ready to give up, when I remembered that there was one thing we hadn't tried yet. And maybe it could truly work.

"Well, I could keep looking for something else that may work." He suggested.
"We tried everything."
"It couldn't have been everything. I'm gonna go get my phone and we'll look together." He said getting up from the couch.
He came back with his phone and we started looking at different things, some of them I was not willing to do, others we had already tried.
"This is useless." I threw my hands in the air in surrender.
"Don't say that, baby." He caressed my arm. "We're going to find something."
I sighed and looked down at my belly.
"I guess we could... Have sex." I said looking up at him. He seemed chocked.
"But you didn't want to."
"Well, I'm kind of desperate."
"Babe, no. You're tired. You have been walking up and down all day. You need to rest."
"Ben, you don't get it. i want this baby out and I swear I have to carry your 'mini me' for one more day I'm going to freak." He smiled. He nodded. And helped me up from the couch.

We were half way through the stairs when I heard a big splash and felt my legs get wet. I looked down to see a big pool beneath my feet and smiled. My water just broke!

"Finally!" I raised my hands in the air.
Ben could only look at me, a little bit shocked.
"Don't just stand there. Take me to the hospital."
