Chapter 1

I was setting in my room when there was a knock on my window I was shocked to see Jackson my twin sisters boyfriend sitting on the edge of the roof "What do you want Whitmore you know Lydia's room is the next window" I said annoyed "you don't think I know this martin she told me to come through your window because she doesn't want to be caught your window is the quietest "he said with a smirk "well then there's the door Whitmore it is always a pleasure talking to you Jackson" I said holding the door open for him to leave " oh and if I'm not home by the time you leave to make sure my window is closed" I said shutting the door

I got a text from Stiles to come outside that we where looking for a body let me rephrase that a half of a body that two joggers's found in the woods I told him to hold on for me to grab my beacon hills lacrosse hoodie and my house keys when I opened the door to my room Lydia was passing by "Make sure Jackson does not go through my stuff and that my window is closed please" I said "Okay and where are you going " she said "Out " was my only reply while I was walking away from her an down the stairs I made sure to lock the door.

when I made sure the door was locked I walked down the driveway to stiles jeep where him and Scott where sitting and waiting for me "took you long enough" Stiles said "Well when you have Jackson Whitmore coming through your window to see your sister and to make sure that he doesn't go through your stuff you would be late too" I said kinda bitter "You like him don't you" Scott said " that s not the point McCall" I said looking away to look out of the window.

when we finally got to the reserve "Are we seriously doing this" Scott said "yes" I said while stiles said "You're the one Bitching that nothing ever happens in this town" Stiles said  "Is not my fault I was trying to get a good nights to sleep before practice tomorrow" Scott said "Right cause sitting on the bench is such a grueling effort " I said "No because I'm playing this year, In fact, I'm making first line" Scott said "Hey that's the spirit everyone should have a dream even a pathetically unrealistic one" Stiles said "Just out of curiosity which half of the body are we looking for?" I asked walking behind them "Huh I didn't even think about that" Stiles said "and what if whoever killed the body is still out here" Scott said as if he was reading my mind "Also something I didn't think about" Stiles said "Its comforting to know you've planned this out with your usual attention to detail" I said " I know" Stiles said  "Maybe the severe asthmatic should be holding the flashlight huh" Scott said while wheezing and grabbing his inhaler and taking a few puffs before continuing up the hill we where climbing "Wait come on!" Stiles said "Stiles" me and Scott yelled, "Wait up Stiles!" Scott yelled while running to keep up with him while I was keeping pace with him so if we got separated with stiles he wouldn't be alone "Stiles" I yelled all we heard was dogs barking and a "Hold it right there!" from an officer " Hang on hang on this little delinquent belongs to me" from Stiles dad the sheriff  "Dad how are you doing?" Stiles asked "So do you listen in to all of my calls?" the sheriff asked "No not the boring ones," Stiles said "Now where're your usual partners in crime?" the sheriff said, "Who Scott and Lauren?" Stiles said "Scott and Lauren are at home Scott said he wanted to get a good nights sleep for the first day back at school tomorrow and Lauren said she didn't want to come its just me in the woods. alone" Stiles said "Scott Lauren you out there?" the sheriff said flashing his flashlight around looking for us "Scott" "Lauren" he called again "Well young man I'm gonna walk you back to your car and you and I are gonna have a conversation about something called invasion of privacy" the sheriff said to Stiles "Damn it stiles" I mumbled

so here are me and Scott wondering abound the dark woods all you can hear the sounds of our footsteps and the crickets chirping as we try to find our way out we stop so Scott could take a puff out of his inhaler but didn't get the chance to because we where trampled by a group of deer I had hit my head on a tree root hard and everything when black.

Scotts pov

Lauren had hit her head on a tree root and she was out cold after the deer had trampled us I had to find my inhaler those things cost like 80 bucks and I had to wait for Lauren to wake up because there is no way I would be able to carry her while I was looking for the inhaler I can cross the half of the body "Aah! oh! oh!" I screamed as I fell down and smacked my back on a little tree leavening me and Lauren separated and her by her self passed out I could hear growling behind me when I turned around I saw this big animal looking at me before I had the chance to run it roared and lunged at me "Aah" I screamed as it grabbed me pulling me to it. It had managed to bite my side before I could run away leavening Lauren to be left behind.

Back to Laurens pov

when I woke up my head and neck  hurt and I don't know where I am it looks like im in a run down and burned house "Finally you awake you took a nasty fall back there and I brought you here my names Derek Hale" who I assume to be Derek said "What am I doing here what happened where are my friends why does my neck hurt? " I asked Derek "I will explain everything just let me look at your neck" Derek said "Okay" I said pulling down my blood stained hoodie "You where bitten" Derek said "By what" I asked "I dont know" he said I almost screamed as Derek showed me his vibrant electric blue eyes "OH MY GOD Scott where is he "I screamed at Derek "He was also bitten but was able to escape by running away you too where separated and he ran leaving you and something else bit you and I saved you and brought you here till you woke up to take you home" he said "So his okay" I asked Derek "Yes his fine Lauren" Derek said "How do you know my name" I asked "I've been following you" Derek said "Why" I asked "For reasons you don't need to know yet at least not till the full moon" he said "I need answers Derek" I said "And Ill give you them Friday on the full moon now come on is late and you have school tomorrow so lets get you home" he said grabbing my hand walking out of the burned down house and to his car and opened the door for me once I got in he shut the door and walked around to get in the drive side after a while with silence he finally talked "Do you have any siblings" he asked trying to make small talk "I have a twin sister named Lydia" I said "What's you middle name" he asked "I'll only tell you mine if you tell me yours" I said "Fine Anthony" Derek said "Lauren Reid Martin" I said looking out the window to see that we where out side of my house "Well good bye for now Derek" i said about to get out when he stopped me by grabbing my hand "Can I have your number" he asked "Sure" I said handing him my phone and him handing me his after I got my phone back I got out of the car walking up to my door and un locking it and going in side with a smile on my face
