Levi's pov 🔰

How could I let this happen I'm so stupid...I sat at my desk. Papers scattered everywhere my whole office was a mess. I knew I should've never let her go but I knew she was strong. There was a knock at the door great another brat to pity me.

"Name and business." I said weakly. "It's Hanji..." she replied but she sounded all stuffy.

"Come in." I told her and she walked in. "Hey l-Levi I know I'm so sorry this is all my fault I was with her but I got distracted!" She wailed and tears fell down her eyes.

I knew it wasn't her fault but it was mine. "Hanji it's not your fault it's mine I should've gone with you." I assured her trying hard not to show any emotion. "Just go and get some rest." I added and she nodded. With that she left.

I walked to my bedroom and fell back on my bed. I closed my eyes and thought for a moment.

Flashback

I turned to Y/n admiring her she then looked right at me. "Don't worry Levi I'll come back and we can have tea together." She flashed me one of her famous breath taking smiles. "Tch you better not be lying to me."  I stated and she let out a giggle.

"I promise!" She promised while crossing her heart I gave her a small smile and we put our attention to Erwin.

Flashback over

A few tears escaped I let her go I had her in my grasp but I let her slip out. That brat lied to me but she's my brat. Why does this happen to me first mom then Isabel and Farlan, finally y/n. How could I let this happen....

Hanji's pov 🌟

I was in a corner crying this is all my fault I should've just stayed with her. The thought of her death replaying in my head is heart breaking.

Flashback

Y/n and I were on the east side of the village I looked around trying to find a precious Titan. "SECTION COMMANDER WATCH OUT!!!" I heard moblit yell. Then I felt my ribs being crushed I squirmed around trying to get out of the tight grip.

"Hanji!!!" I heard y/n scream then I hit the cold hard ground. I stood up and saw the Titan dead. "No I COULD'VE USED HIM!" I cried.

"Hanji you could've died!" She yelled back. I turned my back to her and saw a little abnormal it was so cute. I zipped quickly to him.

I heard screams and cries I turned to where my squad was and saw that y/n was in a large abnormal's grasp. "Hanji!!!" Was the last thing I heard from her before the Titan tore her in half. Tears ran down my face. This was all my fault.

Flash back over

I can still here her cries and screams. Why did I let this happen I should've never let the love of titans get to me. If only if only...

I stayed in my room crying my eyes out. I'm so sorry y/n, I'm sorry Levi, I'm sorry for letting you both down.

I don't deserve to live it should've been me....

Levi's pov 🔰

Memories of y/n came to me every few minutes. Her smile, her hair, her eyes I missed all of it I missed all of her.

I walked to the bathroom and cleaned myself up.

I was looking down at the food I wasn't really hungry Hanji sat across from me just staring at her food as well. I stood up and walked outside. I looked up at the night sky and thought about Y/n.

"When I die don't cry look up at the sky and say goodbye." She told me with a bright smile.

I smiled at the thought of her always trying to lighten the mood. I heard someone walking behind me i turned around and saw that it was just Hanji.

"Hey Levi." She greeted weakly I gave her a nod and we both stayed quiet. "Do you remember what y/n said?" She questioned and we both looked up at the beautiful sky once more.

I took a deep breath and as did Hanji....

"Goodbye"
