chap. 16>> can we have a normal date?

I just realized we never really get a Lams date so... Here you go.

"Alex!" John yells (My phone's suggestion for the next word was McCain... Who's John McCain again?) closing the door to my room.

"What?"

"We should go on a date."

"Okay. What brought this up?"

"I realized we've never really been on a date, just us."

I spin around in my chair to look at him. "That's true. It would be a delightful new experience."

"Get your coat, I have the perfect place!"

I laugh and stand up. I grab my phone and jacket off my bed.

I close the door behind me and follow John out of the building.

Ding.

Ding.

Ding.

"Alex, turn off your phone!" John groans at me.

We're in a nice little park, I'm sitting on the grass with John sitting next to me.

"My data is off... I shouldn't be getting notifications, gods know our friend group doesn't text normally."

I unlock my phone.

Uknown Number: Hey Alex.

Unknown Number: How have you been?

Unknown Number: I miss talking to you.

Alex: Who is this?

Unknown Number: @English_Ruler from Instagram.

Alex: How did you get my number?

Unknown Number: I have my ways.

I turn to John. "Open up Instagram and look for the profile English_Ruler."

"Why?"

"I think they're sort of stalking me."

He pulls out his phone and looks for the account. He hand's me his phone.

Account:

I hand the phone back to John. "You don't think that's our George King do you?"

"Have you met him? He barely has the guts to talk to someone older than him, do you really think he'd be able to stalk your Instagram?"

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

"Can you just tell them you're on a date with your overly attractive boyfriend and that you can't talk right now?"

"Yeah, hold on."

Alex: I can't talk rn I'm on a date with an overly attractive boyo.

Unknown Number: You will be mine.

Unknown Number: I mean Have fun! Damn auto correct.

Hey it's a rare sighting of me actually putting up a chapter!

I promise I'll try to update more regularly now. I just went through a bit of writer's block (and a depressing episode where I fought with most of my friends and could not stop crying) but I think I'm good now.
