Ch. 1 Bye Bye Summer

5:50 a.m. my stupid alarm goes off ruining my peaceful slumber.

Today is the day I go back to hell. School. Its my last year at this dreadful place but I'm still not happy to go. All the other kids in my class are so excited for our senior year, except for me. Even my best friend Christy is excited! Well I can see why, she is from New Zealand and loves learning here in Florida. Me, not so much. I hate Florida. I hate the heat and the constant rain. But there  is nothing I can do about it. My mom works 24/7 as a surgeon and my Dad is a lawyer for professional athletes, so I barley see them. One thing I love about Florida is my house.(ABOVE) We moved to this house 3 years ago. Thats how Christy and I met! She moved 5 houses down. We are the only teens in our neighborhood, the rest are old people, ew. 

Christy is the person everyone loves. She makes everyone laugh and tells the best stories! Some how she stuck with me throughout high school. I pick her up every morning since I have my license. I finally get to reunite with my bestie. Just thinking about her makes me smile. She went back to New Zealand to visit family. And MAN do I have juicy stuff to tell her!

My summer has been pretty interesting also. One day I was watching "Grey's Anatomy" on Netflix and my phone buzzed. I got a DM on my Instagram from this random guy named Grayson Dolan. I knew the named seemed familiar but I couldn't think of where I had heard it. We talked for about a week, I gave him my Snapchat and we talked on there too. Grayson was the first guy I  actually liked talking too. He wasn't acting like a f-boy or a stalker. He generally cared which I had major respect for, since my past with guys wasn't so successful; but I won't go there quite yet. It became a daily routine to say "Good morning" or "Goodnight" which I had no problem with. We face timed a lot too. He lives in New Jersey which is actually pretty cool because I have family in New York. He really wants to meet me one day I feel the same way!

Speaking of the devil! He just texted me!

Gray-  Good morning beautiful!

He always puts a smile on my face

B- Morning Gray Gray :)

G- Guess who just moved and is going to a public school?

B- uhhh... you?

G- YESSSS

B- Thats great Grayson! I have to get ready for school I'll text you at lunch! BYE!!!

G- Bye Brookie! Have a great first day!!!

I rolled my eyes at his silly nickname he calls me, shut off my phone, and got ready for this dreadful day.
