Zodiac High School *Hold* -So Sorry-

Chapter 2

Cancer's P.O.V.

I was looking for Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces, and Taurus then I heard someone yell,

"Cancer we're over here." I look around and see Pisces waving her arm in the air. I ran over to her and there was the rest of the gang! Finally I'm so happy to see everyone!

"Hey Guys!" I exclaim

"Hey Cancer." They all say.

I was about to ask how their summer was when suddenly the bell went off. I guess I'll talk to them later. We all walk away and head to our lockers then to class. I look down at my class paper. Ugh I have math first! I hate math! I hope one of my friends is in class with me. I start walking over to math class and take a seat in the middle of the second row. Wow I'm actually one of the first in the class cool! Slowly people filled the class room and then Pisces walked in and sat down next to me. Yay I'm not alone! I smile at Pisces, then I noticed Capricorn had sat to the other side of me. Yay maybe math won't be as bad now.

   "Hello class now I was off on vacation this summer so, I do not have a plan for this week. So lucky you your first week of math is a social hour." Mrs. Mathew said then sat at her desk. Omg is she serious?! Everyone was still processing what she had just said. Then everyone started talking amongst each other. Capricorn, Pisces, and I started talking to each other. Most people had already brought their chairs to different parts of the room to make groups.

   About halfway through class Mrs. Mathew got our attention back to the front of the class. "Class I need you to quiet down for a minute." Everyone came to a hush. "Good now I am happy to say that we have a new student joining our class!"  What a new student? We never get those since we were hand picked from our middel schools to come here. The only new students are the freshman. By now there was a lot of whispering and talking about the new student, who we haven't even see yet.

  "Okay class I know it's exciting and all but please be quiet so that I can introduce her." Yay it's a girl! Maybe she can be part of my friend group!
The class got quiet again.

  Then Mrs. Mathew gestured towards the door for someone to come in. Eeekk I can't wait to see her! Slowly walked in a girl wearing a black hoddie, jeans, and her black hair was covering both her eye's so I couldn't see her face. "Class this is our new student Scorpio! Now I expect you all to be nice and welcoming to her." Mrs. Mathew said with a big smile. I must say she doesn't look like someone who would be a part of our friend group but looks can be deceiving. She slowly walked over to the back row near the window. Once she sat down she pulled out a book and started reading.

  Mrs. Mathew sat back down and started working again. I really want to get to know this girl she seems so... so... odd! "Pisces, Capricorn do you want to go talk to the new girl?" I asked. "Ya but I don't know Cancer she seems a bit off to me." Pisces said. "Ya but I kind of feel bad for her she doesn't know anyone here. Heck, she hasn't even said anything yet and everyone already has their own opinion on her." I said Pisces nodded in agreement so did Capricorn. "Great so it's settled we are going to go talk to her." I said happily as I sood up. I started to walk over to her Pisces and Capricorn close behind.

  "Hi I'm Cancer." I greeted she looked up from her book and nodded. "Umm... this is Pisces and that's Capricorn!" I said pointing at Pisces and Capricorn. "Hi." She said. Then look back at her book and started reading again. So this is going to be harder than I thought it would be. Let me see how can I get into a conversation with her. Hmmm... Suddenly Capricorn said, "Soo what book are you reading?"
"Umm... it's called To kill a mockingbird." She said softly. Immediately after she said that Capricorn's eyes lit up. "Really? That's one of my favorite books ever!" She gave a soft smile and said, "Right it's soo good!" She moved the hair out of one of her eyes. Wow her eyes are so pretty they are almost like honey yellow. Capricorn and Scorpio started talking about the book and I got bored and so did Pisces. so we let those two talk as Pisces and I walked back to our seats and started talking.

Yay character 2 is done. Wow who knew you could fit 800 words in just once class period! Also I wanted to call my readers something cute like my starlings or something like that so please comment down something you would like me to call you guys. That's it for today Bye! 💜
