AN INCOMPLETE BRIDE

DON'T TAKE ME FOR GRANTED!!

I was in 9th standard, and every single students and teachers knew ME!! I was considered to be one of the most notorious students. A guy from my school (senior) had a liking for me and his friends told him that I was not an easy catch, we went to the same coaching classes which made our encounter quite often, and he had a bet with his friends that he will make me reply to his proposal in positive.

When he proposed me, I had no interest in him but it was my friends who said that I should give it a chance because that guy did everything possible for me, I was going to tell him during my recess (not I love You Too LOL but okay I can give it a thought about you) I went to his friends to ask about his whereabouts that was when one of his best friend told me "are you looking for him , it must be to reply for his proposal in a positive way, HE WON HIS BET". That shocked me "how could he bet on me", that made me furious and I did not react anything there but asked his friends again about his whereabouts.

He was in canteen looking at me with abroad smile on his face, and at that point of time I wanted to slap him tight right across his face, I went up to him and he pushed another glass of juice towards me. I should have questioned him about his betting, right?? But I did something which was totally opposite and guess what I told him that "I Love You Too", his expression changed in a moment and he was feeling like he was at the top of the world, he went head over heels. I used to meet him during morning prayers and he used to drop me back home after school.

I knew that he was totally in love with me, it was 7th Feb (Rose Day) when he gave me a red rose and told me how much he is in love with me and would anything for me, I was just waiting for the moment when he would tell me about his betting, finally the wait was over and he said "Angel, can I tell you something? Which I haven't told till now, I had a bet with my friends about you, I told them that I will make sure that you are my girlfriend, I am sorry about the same, but now I cannot even imagine my life and myself without you".

I was quite for sometime unless he told me to speak up I only spoke one sentence and that was " I knew this thing since day 1 but was waiting for you to confess me the same, now as you have done ,I just want to say that F*** O**!!". That was how I took my revenge of betting upon me.

I am sure few must be thinking what a Bi*** am I? But it really did not matter to me because all I knew is that I am not a product that comes with a price and no one has got the right to have a bet on me.
