Leo
I sat at a stool on a high bench table in a cafe called Zeus, out of all the ones on the high street I felt this would be the most appropriate one at the moment. The war wasn't won yet but The 7 and I were on a break. My mind went to Calypso and I tapped in morse code:
I love you.
It's a bit soon for this but I guess I love you to.
I look up to see the side of a girl sat to my left. With similar skin and hair colour to me. With her one hand on the table, the other was clutching a book that was very near the end. She was probably trying desperatly to finish it. I knew the look on her face very well off of Annabeth and was starting to worry if she was going to cry soon. I recognised the book and it had brought Annabeth to a whole new mood, so much she wouldn't speak to anyone for the whole day. That was almost certainly and Annabeth thing though. I hope.
My name is Leo. What about yours?
Isobel.
She brought her head up and stared into my eyes. Her deep brown hair was pulled up into a big bun, she had long lashes and, with the small amount she had on, flattering make-up.
"You've lost people you love, family, perhaps. Someone else. A girl, you have lost the girl you love. Tell me about her." she said, like it was nothing that she happened to know a lot about me. I dropped my head.
"Sorry, I can't." that was the only thing I could think to say. Was I supposed to tell her all about the Demi-God stuff? Percy had done that once. But, luckily, it turned out that girl was destined to be the Oracle. Then sadness washed over her face.
"Leo, I'm sorry. Once you left Ogygia the Gods (was it the Gods that cursed/trapped her? I can't remember) let Calypso go. She's gone." I was to upset to even think about the fact Isobel seemed to know that and tears rushed down my face. Out of no where a grin appeared on her face. I felt arms rap around around me and turned to see Calypso. She came around to the front of me. I didn't know what to say. I'm guessing she read my facial expression.
"Isobel found me and I told her about you. We managed to track you down and somehow: meet you here." she answered. All I could do was hug her. From over her shoulder I saw Isobel get up and leave the cafe. I thought about calling for her but felt it would be some what innapropriate. Calypso and I stood in silence for a bit before she sat down on the stool next to me, grabbed my hand and squeezed it. We just looked into each others eyes. Finally, I had found her. I would never let her go again. She was wearing a soft white shirt in the same material to the dress she wore when I first met her in Ogygia, skinny jeans, trainers and her hair was in the same, big, bubble style side pony tail it was in.
"I'm off then Leo. See you soon!" Calypso smiled and hugged me once more. "You're the best friend I could ask for!" she squealed.
Another heart break for Leo Valdez.
