Lemon 1

A/N: This is a lemon from a story I'm thinking about writing on here but not for sure if you like it and want to see how they got together and how the lemon came to be from a bigger picture give me good feed back. Sorry for any grammar mistakes if a word doesn't make sense use the words around it to figure out what it's supposed to say.

As Lucy walked into Rogues bedroom, she saw him sitting on his bed waiting for her. When he looked up, he gave her a small but warm smile making her face heat up a bit.

She takes a seat next to him on the bed and asks, "So, what did you want to talk to me about. Not that I'm not happy to see you, it's just that since you said a specific day I thought maybe today was special."

He didn't reply he just sat next to her thinking about how to tell her that it was mating season for him, and he wanted to mate with her. Alas, even though they had gotten comfortable with each other's presence and talking to her was very easy for him, he just couldn't get the words out.

She was slightly confused when he abruptly stood up and took a few steps away from the edge of the bed, and stood there just staring at the ground. She decided he may just be thinking about what to say so she was going to patiently wait until he got his thoughts together.

They had only been dating for a week now after she had almost lost him to his shadow when it tried to take him over in his sleep, after this she had realized that she was in love with him. To her surprise and happiness he returned her feelings. So they immediately made it official, that they were dating. Their guilds weren't exactly on good terms though the only people from fairy tail that knew of Lucy's frequent visits to Sabertooth were Laxus and Gajeel. That was because she was currently training with them about a mile out into the woods behind the Sabertooth Guild.

When Rogue finally got the courage to look at her he put on a serious face that told Lucy that she needed to just shut up and hear him out. Rogue watched as she got the message and sat up just a little straighter and showed him that he had her undivided attention.

She was expecting something extremely serious because of the things that both of them have been through in the past 2 weeks together but she hadn't expected what came out of his mouth next. Oh no, she did not think he would say what he did by a long shot.

"Well...today it's the middle of my mating season, so it is getting increasingly harder to control my dragon instincts to find and mate with someone." He starts.

"Now I don't want us to rush into anything. In fact I didn't expect to get into my mating season until at least next month, but I guess since I started dating you my dragon decided it was a good time to pop up and tell me to mate."

Lucy stares at him, unaware that her mouth was open and her chin was basically touching the floor. Not exactly sure where he was going with this she decided to not interrupt and get the whole story before saying anything.

He continues, "Mating season is different for every dragon slayer. From the timing to how it affects their personality. For me it gets increasingly difficult to stop my dragon from taking control and finding the nearest female and mating with her."

At this point Lucy had slightly gone brain dead and could only think about what he was going to say next. She remains quiet but Rogue can see slight worry swimming around in her eyes. He's not sure if it's because she thinks he's going to ask her to mate with him or if she thinks that maybe he's cheated on her without him having any control over himself. Of course, it was the first option but he didn't want to be too blunt about it otherwise her brain might just shut down altogether.

Before she gets too deep into coming up with bullshit scenarios where he's cheated on her he quickly explains, "So to avoid any unfortunate mishaps of cheating on you before we've barely started dating... Umm... I would l-like to a-ask you if we c-could mate so that it doesn't h-happen."
