Chapter 68- Blood and Tears

Mark calls Alice's phone multiple times throughout the day, but it always went to the machiene that said; the mobile you have called is not available.

"I hope her Mum didn't find out about my visit last night." He sighed to himself.

Just then his silence was ruined by shrieking and laughing of two little girls who ran into Mark's room.

"Uncle Mark! Uncle Mark! Me and Leila want to go park. Please take us!" Kylie pleaded as she grabbed onto Mark's hand.

"Yes! Please Please!" Liela jumped up and down excitedly infront of him.

Mark got down to his knees, to get to the girls level and pulled them both close. "First, give me a kiss on the cheek and then I'll take you."

"Yay!" Both girls cheered and kissed him on either side of his cheeks.

Mark chuckled and kissed their cheeks back.

"Go tell your Mummy to put your shoes and coat on. I'll be down in a minute okay?" He patted their head.

Kylie and Leila ran off out the room excitedly.

Mark got up from the floor, sighing as he then turned to look out his window and to Alice's. Her curtains were still closed.

It turned out that Tammy, Mark's sister wanted to also come along with her daughters to the park. So the four of them walked down to their local park which was only 10 minutes walk away, with little Leila being pushed in the push chair by her mother and Mark picking up Kylie in his arm.

They were there for an hour, when Mark then got the little girls ice cream from the stand that was there.

Another hour had passed, whilst the kids were playing, Mark was now speaking to his sister, telling her what had happened back home with Lina Jackson and him as they sat on a bench.

"It's okay Mark. You'll find the one eventually. Just stay focused on you and work hard. The right girl will come along who will love you and see you as her number one." Tammy told.

Leila came over whilst Mark and her mother were busy talking. She sat quietly, just watching them.

Mark sighed. "There was one girl."

"Who?" Tammy asked excitedly.

"Don't get excited. Nothing happened. She's a friend of Lina and came to visit Korea for a bit. Her names Soo Ah. She was.. a fan of us, Got7 I mean. Especially a fan of me. But she probably just hates me now. I messed up. I was already in love with Lina. I didn't want to lead Soo Ah on, but things just got messy and now I don't even have Lina." Mark told.

"Gosh.. those teenage dramas. Trust me Mark. I had it worse. But anyways forget about me, this is about you. Like I said. Don't be too hard on yourself, if the right girl comes, don't push her away. Give her a chance."

"Hmm" Mark nodded.

He then felt weight against his arm. He looked to the side and saw that Leila was sitting beside him, her head resting on him with her eyes closed. She had fallen asleep because she was tired.

"Awwh. My baby." Tammy cooed. "Mark, you should go get Kylie and we should head back home. I'll put Leila into her buggy."

"It's okay. Let her sleep here for a moment on the bench. Kylie is having fun with her school friends. I think she'd get upset if we go home now. Give her another 10 minutes?" Mark whispered as he gently placed Leilas head down and took off his checkered red shirt to drape over the little girl.
