Chapter 2

 'Shush child, seriously how was your holidays guys?' He asked us sincerly. 'Seriously, Like Italy is soooo amazing, they have the best fashion there ever! Dad was like 'Rose, You're going to make me bankrupt considering you already bought 6 leather handbags, 2 pairs of heels, 4 designer tops, 7 jeans and mum was nagging me to buy some books in Italian or go on this underground sight seeing thing into the past of Italy with her but I was so not going to waste my time on that when I could do some totally more worth while things. I mean -' I let Scoprius listen to Roses' continuous blabbering while I continued with my potions book. 

Just as I started reading it though, the cabin door opened.

'Lily!'

Oh god, it was Teddy. 

Looking gorgeous as bloody ever. 

He came over to me and hugged me, not like Rose's hugs though. They were soft and caressing, like... a gooey marshmallow. I loved marshmallows, they're my favorite food. 

Teddy as a marshmallow. I can't handle it. 

Sadly after those cherished few long seconds, he let go of me and instead looked down at me beaming. 

'Gosh Lily, you look so different even though I saw you two months ago! How's the family? Ready for 6th year? I think you already heard that I'm the new DADA teacher right?  Sorry sorry, so many questions, just so happy to see you!' He said as he looked right into my eyes. 

Can't breathe. What's breathing again? God dammit, those feelings for Teddy still won't go away. 

'W-well um Dad and mum are fine, You already know James graduated last year and this is Albus's final year. Yep, Rose told me already, I'm sure you'll be brilliant at it.'

Do I say I missed him or not?! Too clingy? Weird? 

Just say it Lily. SAY IT.

'It's good to see you to Teddy.'

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? Uuuuh good to see you Teddy. IT'S NOT A FUNERAL GREETING! 

He grinned at me but I noticed for a split second his smile faltered. Did I say something wrong? 

He went over to greet Rose and Scorpius who looked ready to rip his ears out from Rose's summer talk. I could hear them say general greetings, along with a few handshakes and hugs.

Teddy stood up and headed towards the cart door. 'Bye guys, I'll see you at the dining hall! Wish me luck, Proffesor Mcgonagall is going to introduce me to everyone. I swear, she never seems to age, really need to know the cream she uses' He joked before he left.

Grr, I really need to control myself with Teddy. He'll catch on and I dont want the awks for the rest of my life with him knowing that I liked him. Not to mention Victoire is still in the bloody picture. AFTER 9 YEARS. I know Victoire and him keep having an on/off relationship, but honestly make up your minds already. 

'LIIIIIIIIIIILY, we've arrived! Come on! We have to get the carriages before everyone else does!' Rose shouted in my ear, jerking me from my Teddy filled thoughts. 

I sighed as I looked out the window. The lake, the castle, the lights. Same old, same old. 

Finally, home. 

Except with Teddy in it.

Let's just say this will be a very 'awks' filled year for me.

Goddamit Teddy.
