Cora seemed to sense my bad mood when I got home, she took one look at me as I stormed in and headed up the stairs to my room and followed me loyally, throwing my dad a quick goodnight. Cora and I were not the emotional types, we didn't really do the whole hugging and big speeches with each other, we kind of felt each other on a more deeper level; we didn't need to hug to make the other feel better, it was like we fed off of each others energy instead.

Cora was right behind me as I stepped int my room, her face turned into a concerned mask, as she stood a few feet away, watching me as I paced my room. "What happened?" She asked after a few moments.

I stopped pacing a fell down onto my bed, face first with the pillow smothering me. I mumbled out and heard Cora chuckle, "I can't hear you, dip shit."

I sat up and turned over so I could see her, "Ty told me he didn't want to be my friend." I say again and her mouth drops open.

"Ty said that?" I nod in response. "God, what did you do?" She asked with a grin, how she was finding this funny, I don't know but I gaped at her in disbelief.

"Me? I'm nothing but nice to him, he's the one acting like a complete douche bag!" I exclaim as Cora slides onto the bed beside me.

"Maybe, but either way I think Ty is just putting up a front, maybe he likes you or something." She shrugs, and I scoff, Ty definitely didn't like me, he'd proven that much so far. "Look, i'm not saying Ty is being reasonable about whatever he's feeling, but if he's got issues with you, you just have to let him deal with them, or force him to explain."

Getting Ty to explain what his problem was with me was probably going to be more difficult than what Cora assumed, all I could really do was try and get through this weekend without him blowing up at me again, and if that meant I had to keep my distance from him, then so be it.

Seth was at mine bright and early, knocking on my front door at exactly seven am, my dad got to the door before I could, and I knew Seth was terrified of my dad. "Oh, good morning Mr Reed." He stammered out as my dad crossed his arms over his chest, his army built muscles bulging.

"Making quite a racket, know what time it is Seth?" My dad asked, using his fake authoritative voice, and I had to stifle a laugh at Seth's face.

"I'm sorry, I hope I didn't wake you up." He stammered out to my dad, who just glared at him for a few moments before breaking out in a grin and pulling Seth into a headlock. "Chill out Seth, i'm always up early." He says, and releases Seth who takes a precautionary step over to me, as he laughs shakily.

"Leave him alone dad, I don't want him to have a heart attack on the way to the lake." I scold my dad who just chuckles to himself as he heads into the kitchen to grab his coffee.

I motion for Seth to follow me up the stairs to my room, smirking at him; he still looked like he was going to crap himself. "Your dad scares the hell out of me Nova, why does he have to be so beefy?" He exclaims and I crack up.

"You know he's a teddy bear Seth, stop being a baby." I say as we enter my room where Cora is putting the last few items into her already full travel case, which looked like it was refusing to shut.

"Oh good, Seth, come and sit on my case." Cora huffs out.

"Sorry what? Come and sit on your face?" Seth asks with a dirty grin, making Cora glare over at him as she flicked her blonde hair out of her face. Seth gives her another cheeky smile before sidling over and lowering his butt onto the case, and Cora is able to zip it shut. "Thanks, I knew I just needed someone heavier."

"Are you calling me fat?" Seth asks in fake outrage, and Cora rolls her eyes and smacks his arm lightly.

"Are you guys ready to leave then?" He asks as he stands up and pulls Cora's case up from the the floor, and grabbing mine.
