Venom

Adam Moonlit was not a good man, by any means. A manipulator, a liar, a vengeful maniac. But, a man full of remorse. Adam met Eve through Project:MA. A powerful and skilled witch, Eve was a clear candidate for the project, started by senate member Seth Twiright. Though.. she was unwilling. 

Adam's mother was taken from him at a young, young age. He only ever remembered her face. The Prophet Queen, used as a lifeless doll by the cruel senate. Adam vowed revenge on them for using his mother. Project:MA was the perfect way to do it.

After his mother's prophecy, the people of Levianta were in a state of fear and shock. It took several years to begin the project. 20 long, long years. By the time the project was up and running, Adam was ready to exact his revenge. Running the project was hard, but he knew it would be worth it. And when he found Eve, it was set in stone.

Venom is a powerful thing. When used in small amounts, it can make one's mind malleable. In large doses, It can twist and ruin someone.

The senate agreed that Adam could use venom to control Eve. In only a week, they had her tested for the project. She had fallen into a deep love with Adam and not only depended on him but loved him with all her heart, and Adam in return loved her. Despite the venom's effects, Adam found himself caring deeply for her.

Project:MA was a success at first. With Eve carrying twins to serve as the vessel for the dragon gods, Seth Twiright satisfied, and Adam proudly running the show.

"Brothers." Adam breathed, a bright smile on his face. He leaned close to Eve, hands clasped together. "You're going to be a good Ma. The Mother of the gods." Eve's eyes closed gently, a gentle laugh escaping her lips. 

"We're both going to be parents. Don't forget." She corrected with a grin. "You're going to be a good father." she paused, pulling away for a moment. "Can we... can we run away to that forest I love?" She asked gently. "I'd like to make a family there. With our babies. Can we live together in Held?" Her lover only nodded. 

"I would love nothing more."

They were named Cain and Abel- two twin brothers to house the gods. 

But it just wasn't meant to be.

When Eve bore the children, they were revealed to be stillborn.

Twisted with grief, Eve was broken. 

Seth and the senate ruled to kill her, a useless witch.

Adam and Eve ran away together, to the forest of Held.
