"Are you sure you're ready?" The doctor asked as he stood behind the open door. A final confirmation of assurance. "We've warned you of the possible outcomes, this is your decision."
The girl smiled a pure, hopeful smile. "I already said yes." She confirmed. Her voice was soft and lilting, but quiet. Weak. "Don't you worry about me." Her white hospital-like gown made her pale pink hair almost blend in. The braids laying flat on her chest.
The doctor sighed, smiling. "Rina, your positivity never ceases to amaze me."
The frail girl died in the experiment. She wasn't strong enough to survive the pregnancy and deliver the twin gods.

"What exactly is your history with magic?" Seth sat across from a girl with bleak white hair, and dark purple eyes. She had her arms folded over her chest, a cool look about her.
The girl smirked. "I was an Apocalypse mage for all my life. Need any more explanation?" She tucked a stray hair back behind her ear. At the mention of the terrorist organization, Seth froze up.
"Ah, I see, Miss Flower.." Seth marked something down on his paper. "Well, seems you'll make a perfect Ma. Thank you for.. applying."
A day after she conceived the twins, her former Apocalypse peers murdered her in vengeful rage.

Marina Lucef came in to the Royal Institute almost immediately after the death of the second Ma. Her husband, Vey Lucef, volunteered her himself. A strange thing, but Seth and his team accepted her on account of her powerful magical heritage.
In her ninth month of pregnancy, she disappeared. The search began, finally finding the mother dead and destroyed, the twins taken from her womb by her husband.
-
The final trial began to find the true Ma. Four girls were found, perfect for the role. The race for Ma began.
