I knew that I was in love with Helen because when I said goodbye to her it didn't feel finite. I knew that I could never be with her because of her promise to Artemis, but that didn't mean I wasn't going to try. I needed a plan, I needed a speech so I wrote. (This literally translates to "Helena, I love you with all my heart and I cannot Imagine my life without you. You are my everything, it has been awhile since I loved and I swore I would never love again, but you make me want to love. I would like to ask artemis if we could be wed. I need to be with you.")

I rehearsed what I'd say and then I tore off to the village to find a horse for my journey. All I could think about was Helen. I rode for at least two hours before I spotted her in the distance. I was ecstatic beyond belief, I pushed my tired horse into a gallop until I caught up with her. I quickly dismounted and she turned to face me. The next thing I knew her arms were around me and I could feel her heart beating against my chest. I gently pushed her back and leaned down to kiss her, but she backed away.

"Helen I love you." I said to her completely forgetting my rehearsed speech.

"I love you too" she said but her voice had cracked and her eyes were welling up with unshed tears.I pulled her close, and put my arms around her. I felt her tears through my shirt and I could only imagine how hard this must be for her. That night we decided to ask Artemis if we could be married.
