Everyday he goes to work, does his job, does it well.

Everyday he donates to a homeless family stowed away on the side of the road with nothing but a blanket and the clothes they wear.

Everyday he pays money for a boy to go to school.

Everyday he brings happiness to a woman suffering heartbreak at his workplace.

Every day he is selfless. But is he too selfless?

Every night, the only thing he eats rice and a glass of water.

Every night, he struggles to pay off his bills and his rent.

Every night, he helps the old lady go to sleep in the other house.

Every night he cries himself to sleep because of how selfish he was before. He is in deep regret.

Before, he would yell at his co-workers whilst at his work.

Before, he would kick dirt at the homeless family and insult them on how dirty they were.

Before, he would demand the boy to go to an orphanage instead of living with his broke parents.

Before, he would ignore the girl who would cry everyday.

Before, he had a family. He would yell at his children to do chores. His wife would cry and he'd yell at here too.

They left.

The man stopped being selfish and disgusting to other people because he didn't want to lose anyone ever again. Now he owes his lives to the people he made fun of, ignored and abused. Even though he helps, he is still in deep regret.

One day he heard a knock on his door and two sets of running footsteps. Who could it be? It was his wife and children. They hugged, cried and the man pleaded for forgiveness. The wife stared at her husband and sobbed harder.

"Of course" she replied holding her children and husband tighter then ever.

From then on the man was kind, caring and joyful to everyone around him.
