Celeste
"Cel, where are you?" Ange inquires.
"I'm near! Give me a few more minutes!" I said, frowning as I started running.
A car behind me honked its horn. I flinched and glared at the driver. The car's window rolls down and it was Zane.
"Love, get in. A princess shouldn't be walking in this chilly day." He cheekily states.
I grinned widely and got in the passenger seat, buckling my seatbelt the moment I sat down. "Thanks. Ange called me and sounded a bit annoyed. I didn't mean to be late though." I pouted.
"Well, the theme park is just a minute away." Zane says.
By the time Ave called me, we already entered the theme park. "Ah! We see you two!" Ave exclaims before suddenly ending the call.
"What were you two doing together, hm? Why were the two of you late, hm?" Ange teased, wiggling her eyebrows in a joking manner.
I rolled my eyes and smiled. "We just met in the street and he decided to give me a ride." I replied, dismissing their malicious thoughts.
"Zane..." Jaxon mutters, frowning.
"Mate, I just saw her running on the streets, so I decided to help her. Nothing more than that." Zane quickly explains, patting Jaxon's back.
"Should we go look for our first ride?" Histon asks.
"We should!" Nick answers, holding Ave's hand.
We decided to ride the drop tower first.
"Heights already?" Jaxon whines.
"Are you scared?" I asked.
He hesitantly shook his head. "Not really. I'm just not fond of them." He lowly spoke, eyes shaking as he stares at the ride.
"Don't be a pussy, Jax." Nick and Ave teased.
Jaxon narrowed his eyes at them and scowled. "Yeah, yeah. I'm riding it anyway." He mutters, stepping into the line with us.
The first five minutes of waiting was fine. Until ten minutes passed. Twenty. Thirty. How much more do-
"How many are you guys?"
Finally!
"We're 7." Histon replies.
"Alright." He says, letting us in.
I sat beside Ave, who was in the middle. Beside her was Ange and beside Ange was Histon. The three single boys were at another row of seats since each row has 4 seats.
"I'm killing you guys for this!" Jaxon shouts.
"Nah, you'll thank us for this later." Zane says.
The lady checked our seatbelts and I saw Ange hold onto Histon's hand. Ave was turning pale and I was getting nervous.
"In 3!"
All of us expected to hear a countdown to one, but it didn't happen. We were thrown up to the top in no time.
I didn't even get to scream!
Jaxon, on the otherhand, shouted like there's no tomorrow.
"That was actually fun." Ava says with a wide smile.
"I wanna ride this again." Nick adds.
"Let's not." Jaxon sharply states, turning paler and paler as he walked. I pity him. He shouldn't have rode this ride if he can't handle it.
