Chapter 1 : Busy Bee
🌸 Caroline's P.O.V 🌸
"No, no, no " i'm so not liking this where's the paper work I sent for and why is my Decor not still ready, I don't like the look of this, I expected this office space to be ready before now!!"I was so furious with the way i met a work I've paid for weeks before now was nervous to see my money in action at my own new firm but things didn't go as planned omg I'm so gonna blow soon
In the midst of my taught Blair my assistant spoke up
"ma'am the pizza delivery man is here "
"Shut up!!"
I was already shooting lasers from my eyes
"Maybe it's because i left my work to you guys that you forgot who I am"
"No ma'am, it's not like that"Blair spoke up again
If i managed to be Supergirl at that very moment I'm sure i would have burnt Blair out at a time like this, but still she is the only one that dares me and I like it. All i could let out was a smile due to all my thoughts about that lil pest running through my head......."just get out". I managed to cool down
And ma'am the pizza delivery man is still outside
I rolled my eyes, "so what?"
"She gestured her fingers in a way describing money"
What type of person is this oh lord, I pointed at my bag, and she went, unzipped it and collected some cash, waving the money in the air just to show me now that she has gotten it. I hurriedly picked up my phone, putting on a facial expression threatening to throw it at her. She just wore a playful yet adorable smile then went off.
I smirked to my self for a lil bit before putting on my serious look at the other workers
I could hear Blair's voice from the stairway as she was laughing blushingly to someone at the door, i guessed the pizza delivery guy must be cute for such a sassy princess to laugh like that, but still all i could do was smile. Blair came in with a still smiling face. I began to wonder what the pizza guy had said to her as i watched her drop the pizzas on a desk still smiling just then i was interrupted by a phone call , it was Bruce my boyfriend (since my last years in college) he called to inform me that my younger sis was in the hospital she was involved in a car accident but it wasn't so serious, i determined from the way put forward the news.
"I'm out, you guys get done and go, Blair the keys" i tossed my spare to her
"ma'am pizza?"
"Not now Blair, not now"i said as i walked out the office leaving the rest to their work
I got into my car, with a lot of thoughts and imaginations in my head so much that i didn't even realise i had hit some thing over.
"Heeey!! Look what you've done!"
Not paying attention I entered my car and drove off . I was so bothered about Eunice my younger sis that i was driving at 100km/h and didn't even reduce it when i got a call again at first but then did when i saw the call was from Blair
Oh what now i taught. I picked it putting on my ear phones.
"Ma'am the conference by 5:00"
"Oh oh thanks Blair, skipped my plans, tell The board i'll delay a bit, can you?"
"Yes Boss, but where are you off to?"
"I'll tell you when i get there just do what i asked you to"
"Yes Boss!!"
"OK thanks"

I was so happy my imaginations weren't what i had thought them to be, although Eunice had a few bruises it wasn't something serious enough for me to worry about not that i didnt worry, but I knew she'll be just fine. I spent a couple of hours with her while she was sleeping, the Doctor said she would be released in 2 days just needed to check well for any more injuries and see to it that she has totally recovered. In my stay, just when i remembered the conference, a call came in, i didnt bother to pick at first thought it was Blair but then i did and saw it was my boy friend.
Oh my, me and my always concluded thoughts
"Hey boo..what's up"
"Nothing much Darling just came over to the company and heard you weren't in the conference"
"Im on my way there now"
"OK good see you here"
"alright boo see you soon"
I hurried into my car, drove off again but this time not as fast as i drove to the hospital.
Grandpa would be so pissed, no he wont he's grand daughter is in the hospital he cares more about her than his company, wew. My thoughts again.

"Ok this is it for today but Carl write me a good well detailed report about your Team's new plan same goes for you Courtney"
"Yes Grandpa!" Courtney replied
"Yes Sir" i said
"Good meeting dismissed "
Courtney is the only cousin I have, and her mother always made her and I compete since she was aware that my Dad doesn't want to take over the company. Although I never saw her as competition, I just always did what had to be done and so I was always real with everything
Grandpa stood up and left before any member of the board could.
"Why don't you ever get punished?" Courtney asked
I ignored her, but thought it over and over, probably......., I would ask Gran Gran when i get home.
"Berry Berry!!"
I smiled at Bruce as he walked towards me in the hall way, i could feel Courtney irritated look and could see her rolling her eyes even though i didnt look her way. He came close pressed his lips against mine, hugged me then held me on my shoulder took his hand down to my wrist while looking down into my eyes.
"How's your day been?"
"Stressful"
"Well it's about to end"
"Why you say so?"
"Cause I'm taking you out for a treat"
"Oh Bruce that's sweet but I'm so exhausted now i cant go any where lets have dinner at my house"
"That's what you always say!"
"Well i work and i get tired im sorry next time i mean it"
He rolls his eyes and looks away. I put my hands on his cheek making his face face mine again telling him i promise. I pecked his cheek
"Darling"
He smiled "OK OK, you demonic Angel " then off we went to my family house for dinner.
