When Ethan and Alex got to Eric's castle Belle and Ariel were sitting at a large wooden table, folders stretched out in front of them. The room was filled with people running around with folders and decorations. Alex stopped in the door way for a second her breath catching at the sight. "You okay Alex?" Ethan put a hand on her waist.
"It's really happening isn't it?" Alex looked up at him she face filled with fear.
"We have to get though cotillion first." He laughed before walking off leaving Alex.
"Alex!" Belle called smiling over at her daughter "come look at bouquet options." Alex toke a deep breath before heading to her mother. She sat next to her mum looking at the pictures of flower bouquets. "You know, if I didn't get married we wouldn't have to do all this planning." She tried to sound upbeat but the truth was Mal wasn't the only one feeling the pressure lately. Cotillion was in just over a week and a week after that she was to marry Ethan and become queen of Tritons bay which scared her half to death. She was only seventeen and she was getting married in under a month to a boy she didn't even love. "Alex it's your responsibility." Belle scorned. "I know, I know." Alex flipped through the pages of the folder before pointing at a picture. "I like the calla lilies." She looked up at her mum who smiled in approval.
"You will look beautiful with calla lilies. The wedding will be grande and the whole kingdom will be there to watch you walk down the isle." Belle was getting carried away with the thoughts of the grande event. "Not everyone mother." Alex muttered under her breath.
"A princess does not mutter, she speaks with grace and power." Belle scorned.
"Sorry mother."Alex spoke clearly hanging her head.
"That's better." Her mother brushes her thumb along her cheek softly. "How did I get blessed with such perfect children." She smiled.
"Must be good breeding." Alex pulled on a smile.
