Relocating

Lenny and Beulah traveled together this time back to Biloxi Mississippi to start looking for a new home and also talked to Marcus about finding a better job pickup in Biloxi.

It took about 3 months to do it,  but soon Lenny and Beulah were on their way to a new home and a new town.  They were both good savers of their money,  so it didn't take long to save a few more dollars to relocate.

Marcus was glad to have them in his town.  He had a neighbor name Claire who he had thought would get along quite well with Beulah while he and Lenny worked and hung out at the Juke Joint.

Beulah was eager to meet Claire,  because she had absolutely no friends whatsoever because she was glued to her husband Lenny.

Claire was laid back as well.  She lived alone but had recently retired from working as a Home Health Aide.

She had recently started going to church up the road, and had invited Beulah to come along with her some Sunday's.  Beulah hadn't really attended any churches but had a Bible in her home which she would read from time to time.

Sure Claire,  I would love to attend church with you, as a matter of fact,  this Sunday since Lenny and Marcus seem to be quite busy working on their business plus in their spare time seem to always wanna go to that juke joint to hang out.

Lenny seemed to be more and more engulfed with that juke joint that I hardly would see him until late in the evening and then he would come home talking slurred like he was drunk as a skunk.

I had hated seeing him this way.  He assured me that he was okay,  that he had just had 1 too many drinks that's all Beulah.  Just 1 too many.  I will be okay in the morning dear.

Beulah was worried about Lenny's drinking picking up.  Sure she had known that he drank and at times seemed to have a little more than he should but now since he had met Marcus and found his new juke joint, he just had to go their almost every single evening after work.

He gave me the money to handle the bills,  but he also had his share of money for his fun time with Marcus.  Marcus didn't have a wife,  just female friends that he would get together with often. He was a handsome fella and could have his way with women.  I sure hope that he wasn't influencing Lenny in that way.
