Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. The hand. He smiled for a bit when he realized that they had finally been defeated. But at the cost of losing the woman he loved, again. Wait, where was he?

He heard from the left of the doorway. She smelled like a church. She was a nun.

He couldn't say anything. She had died in his arms, twice now. How was it possible for the woman he loved to die twice.

Oh god. How was he gonna tell Foggy? And Karen? They thought all he was dead. How could he legally come back to life? Someone had to have died when Midland circle fell. Whether it was Daredevil or Matt Murdock, that was up to him. But right now, he needed to find his friends.

He said, putting as much anger into his voice as possible. It work, as the assistant nodded and pointed to- something. He walked in its direction and heard metal cords. An elevator. It open and he heard one heartbeat. Foggy Nelsons. He walked Im towards it and grabbed Foggy, pulling him into the elevator.

Matt said before security could be alarmed.
