Chapter 4!

Chapter 4

**Rosies pov**

"Two-bit!" I screamed while opening the door.

He was the only one home knowing Darry, Steve and Soda were at work, and Dally the bar. Ponyboy yelped in pain while I tried to pull him into the door.

"Pony i'm so sorry! I should have just let them rape me! I can't stand to see you hurt!" I said.

He mumbled something I couldn't hear, but he looked up with a smile.

I sat him down in a chair and started to clean him up. Two-bit thought he had a concussion, so did I but why would I tell him he already has blood gushing from his lip. I called Darry to tell him what had happened, he decided to come right home. I didn't know what to do, I felt so bad that Pony got hurt for me. I guess he really does love me!

"Hey babe do you think you can help me to my bed?" Pony asked.

"Of course baby!" Rosie said.

I helped him limp to bed trying to support his weight with my little body.

"Rosie?" Pony asked before I walked away.

"Yes baby?" I answered.

"Will you stay with me until I fall asleep?" He asked.

"Of course!" I answered. I snuggled up in bed with Pony thinking about how we will tell Darry we are dating. My thoughts slowly started to fade as I got sleepier and sleepier in Ponyboys arms.

**Darry's pov**

I ran out of work as soon as I could to go see my baby brother. I picked up Soda and Steve on my way, Soda told me all about the fight that had broken out. I can't believe Pony stood up for Rosie it sure sounds like he likes her. He can't like her shes like his sister!

**Rosie's pov**

"Ponyboy?" I asked.

"Yes baby?" He retorted.

"We can't tell Darry we are dating." I said

"Why I can't stay away from you I love you!" He yelled starting to become angry.

"Ponyboy you can't yell at me he's your brother!" I yelled back.

"I don't want to date you if we have to hid!" He yelled.

"Then what do you want to do?" I asked

"Lets ask him if he says no we will sneak then." He answered

"Fine." I said planting a kiss on his lips.

We both pulled away to smile.

About ten minutes later Darry walked in with a worried expression on his face. He started to ramble on about how stupid we were and a bunch of other crap. I really wasn't listening but worrying about what he was going to say when he found we are dating. I quickly snapped out of my thoughts when Pony started speaking.

"Darry, he said, can I ask you something?"

"Sure little buddy anything." He answered.

"Rosie and I want to tell you, he started as he reached for my hand, that we both like each other and want your blessing to date." He finished with rushing the last part, you could tell he was nervous. Darry carefully thought over what Pony said, but before he could say anything Soda ran in.

"Darry just let then date why not?" Soda said.

"So Soda you were listening the whole time? I asked with a giggle.

"I don't know maybe." He said with his voice going up.

"Well kids why not but, Pony you have to ask her properly to be your girl." Darry said.

I ran up to hug Darry with Pony on my heels. Then to Soda for practically making him choose.

Ponyboy reached over and slid his arm around my waist I instantly started to blush.

"Well, Darry started, before you two date we need some ground rules, first obviously you can not share the same bed, second no hanky panky in my house and third i'm letting Rosie know that if you hurt her I kill you." Darry finished. I laughed since Darry was the second one to threaten Pony about hurting me. We all went our separate ways and Pony took me into the living room. I sat on his lap and watched Mickey Mouse with him and Two-bit.

"I'll be right back." Pony told me going into his room.

He came out with his hair freshly greased, a nice outfit and a wad of cash.

"Woah aren't you looking sharp? What's the occasion?" I asked.

"I'm taking you on a proper date." He said

"Really where are we going?" I said walking over to kiss him.

"A nice place over where the Soc's live." He said "now go get changed!"

I quickly ran up the stairs to my new room aka the guest room. I put on a pretty blue dress with matching heels. I straightened my hair and threw on some make up. I looked pretty good. As I walked down the stairs Pony's jaw dropped I giggled and kissed his cheek. He got Soda to drive us so we got in the car and headed off to what would be a very memorable night.
