Ashlynn's POV
I woke up earlier than usual. I was really sore from what happened yesterday. I went to take a quick shower and got dressed in something quick and easy.
After brushing my hair and putting it in a ponytail and brushing my teeth, I went to slowly walk down the stairs. It hurts so bad to walk. I grabbed an apple and left. Thank god no one was awake.
I was moving my bookbag around to make it comfortable, but it was no use. It hurts worse and worse when I try to fix it. I reached the bus stop. Surprisingly, Ashton was here this early too.
"Hi- oh my God, what happened?!" Ashton asked sounded worried. Ashton Irwin. Worried about me.
"I meant to cover it up.." I said shaking my head sighing.
"That doesn't answer my question.. What happened?!" He asked in a concerned tone.
"I already told you.. My "father" was home last night. My parents got a call about me blowing up in class, and they didn't want me to let people know my business," I said looking down.
We stayed in silence for a while. He must of not known what to say. I was hurting to stand, so I slowly sat on the bench easily taking off my bookbag. I winced in pain when I was struggling to take it off. Ashton came to sit beside me.
"Need help?" Ashton said with his face full of sorrow.
I shook my head. I'm glad he is sorry, and he wants to try and help me, but it doesn't change the past. We could start over, but we can't erase all the pain he's given me mentally, so it has to take some time.
I was starting to shiver. I didn't dress good enough for this kind of weather. Ashton must of known I was cold, so he put his jacket over me.
"Thank you, but you will be cold," I said taking it off handing it to him.
"I'm not that cold, I got heavier clothes on, so you keep it he said putting it back over me.
"Thanks.." I mumbled giving him a light smile.
A few more minutes passed by till the bus came. I slowly got up attempting to pick up my book bag.
"I got it," Ashton said already picking it up before I could protest. I walked behind him getting on the bus.
