Ariel's Pov
My name is Ariel Johnson, but my friends call me AJ. I'm 17 years old. and my best friends are Marysleysis Espinoza (Everyone calls her Mary) and Makenzie Nordyke.
I have a crush on Zayn Malik, he's the bad boy at school and his posse includes: Louis Tomlinson (the joker), Niall Horan (the funny one who laughs too much), Harry Styles (the flirt/the player), and last but not least, Liam Payne (the smarts).
One problem about Zayn, he would never notice a simple girl like me, plus he's popular and every girl swoons over him, I have no chance with him whatsoever.
I got snapped out of my thoughts by Mary and Makenzie.
"AJ!" They both yelled at me.
"What?" I asked totally confused. We were in first period health with Mrs. Finnell and Zayn and his buddies had this class with us too, so I happened to be staring at Zayn.
"Quit staring, you're embarrassing us," Mary said giving me a look.
"Yeah, like seriously, we all know you want to go out with him, but you need to move on, he's way out of your league. I used to have a huge crush on Niall, until I grew balls and realized it would never happen and now I'm happily in love with Chris," Makenzie said smiling.
Chris was Makenzie's boyfriend. He is shorter than Makenzie and in our grade too.
"Oh gosh, not another story about Chris, oh gosh no please," I said while we were supposed to watching a stupid movie.
"Yeah, no offense, but no one likes Chris," Mary said giving a disgusted look to Makenzie.
"You know what, just whatever," Makenzie said laying her head down on the desk indicating she was mad.
"Aww, Ken,don't be that way!" I said brushing her hair with my fingers.
She smacked my hand away.
"Don't touch me!" She yelled.
Just then the bell rang and we all got up to go to our lockers.
"Makenzie we're sorry," Mary said as we got our binders for science. Me and Makenzie had bottom lockers and Mary had a top locker.
Makenzie accidentally slammed her locker.
"It's alright. I'm not mad anymore.
Aye, Mary and AJ, come to my house tonight we're going to have a sleepover and we're going clubbing, so we have to get ready!" Makenzie shouted in excitement.
I had a feeling something bad would happen and I was right everything went downhill from then on.
