Chris takes Clary back to the boat, even though he was very little he had a lot of strength to pick her up bridal style. He sped up his walking knowing he would drop her if he didn't. As soon he got to the boat he put clary in as carefully as he can, he then proceeded to push into the boat back in the water. When the boat was in far enough he jumped in and started rowing the boat as fast and strong as he can without hurting himself.

Once far enough to not see Patty on the island, Chris stopped, he sat there trying to figure out what happened, what are they gonna do now? What is going to happen to us now? What is gonna become of Clary? Or even me? He kept thinking and wondering what the future lays ahead. But he was for sure of one thing. "I'm keep Clary alive. That's the best I can do for Patty." He said to himself.

"Take me far away from here." Chris jumped not realizing Clary was even conscious. He turned and looked at her, she hasn't moved her body at all, it was like she was a statue even her skin was pale as marble. Her eyes were so empty, and so lifeless. She proceeded to talk "Take me far away from this part of the island I don't wanna ever see it again." Chris was so confused has she forgotten about the laws Patty has given us? "Clary we cannot do that!"
"And why not?!" She finally sat up but she made sure her back was facing the island Patty was on even that means she wasn't facing Chris. "Patty is gone, I don't wanna here about his rules. I want to move to another part of the island." "Patty made those laws for a reason, he protected us with those laws. Please Clary understand why he made those laws." She didn't move nor respond to him until they hit the beach. Chris got out and pulled the boat up to the shore. He then looked at Clary and realized she has been crying. "I can move us to only one other part of the island. But we gotta be even more careful, you understand?" He said as he stared at her curled up body on the boat. She finally looks at him and wipes her tears away, "I'll do whatever you want. Just don't ever leave me like he did."

He patted her head carefully. He then slowly walked away to go start packing up their extra food, clothes, and any necessities they needed to survive. He gathered some rope knowing they're going to have to rebuild a new home.
Once all the stuff they can take on the boat was loaded, Chris hesitantly looks back over to the other island. "I'll keep your laws and love with us. For as long as I live." He whispered to himself. He then heads into the boat. Starts going to the one side of the island that he knows for sure, that tribe wouldn't find them.

10 years later

Island was so peaceful, with a beautifully scented breeze was blowing through the hut where Clary slept. That peaceful sleep was soon interrupted by Chris coming in and jumping on her. "Wake up!Wake up! Santa was here!" Indeed it was December 25, Chris was really good at keeping track of time, days, months, and just excellent memory in general. "C'mon Clary! Our stockings are filled up and I don't wanna wait for you!" Clary mumbled under her breath as she slowly sat up and opened her eyes. She then looked at Chris "You scum there is no such thing as Santa! And what could you possibly give me!" One thing you never do is mess with Clary in the morning. Chris always thought she was strange because she has had this attitude since she started bleeding every month, he still doesn't know why she does that, but he every time it happens he wants to help. "Clary why do you always have to ruin everything! All I wanted was us to have a good Christmas but you gotta complain." He then leaves their hut and runs outside. Clary quickly realized what she did and ran out after him. " Chris wait...." she stopped once she saw what was out there a stocking so full that the branch that it was on was almost snapped, she couldn't quiet understand what could be in there. She then moved slowly over the stocking and unwrapped it from the tree. She was stunned on what was inside the stocking, it was completely filled up with pearls. She was so stunned that she sat down right where she was sitting. She was totally admired by pearls since the first day she discovered them, it was she loved most. She was so admired by the pearls she didn't realize Chris was behind her.

"I got those for you because I knew you loved them and you always bring some to me as well. I thought you might like this. It took me awhile to get all of those." She looked up at him. And she never really noticed how much he has grown before. Was tall, tan, his eyes have gotten more blue and his hair was just as curly and blonder then ever. "I love it truly. Though this does explain why we kept those things we get these out of. But I truly appreciate it and truly love it." "You said you loved it twice. So I believe you." She laughed, "what if I said I loved it once?" "Then you would've been lying and trying keep me from feeling bad." She slapped his leg. Then walked around her and stood in front of her, "Are you not going to look in your stocking?" She looks up at him with a slight smirk. He was confused, he didn't fill up his stocking because he wanted to surprise her. When went to tell her that, he caught a quick glance at his stocking and he was stunned. It's full. But why? He looked at Clary with a shocked face. "Wait when did you do this? I was up all night and I didn't see you come out of the hut once!" He then proceeds to untie the stocking off the branch. He opened it and there was fishing hooks and arrow heads for his arrows. He looked up at her and she just smiled. He was stunned because he knows she made these with her own hands which is strange for her. " I worked on these when you went hunting. They were hard to make but watching you make them for years sure did help a lot." She smiled at him. " Also I want to apologize about earlier. I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel bad."  He shook his head. "You know you've been like this for awhile and I don't know why. I'm so concerned every month about you. Clary? Are you slowly dying? Like why do you keep bleeding?" She laughed lucky for her, she remembers her mother talking to her about her monthly cycle. "No, I'm not dying, it's just something women do. Sadly I don't know the reasoning behind it. But I'm fine, my mother told me so." She just smiled, but she felt so happy knowing he is concerned about her well being. Out of no where she leaned over to him and kissed his cheek.
