Notes: sorry this took so long :(

It was only a few days after New Years and the weather was still exceptionally freezing considering New York weather was usually always cold – which only meant one thing: it was completely socially acceptable to still go ice skating in Times Square. However, there was the perk of there being not too many people there – which in Peter's case, only favored him. Peter hadn't told you this, but he was horrible at ice skating. He suggested a lengthy list of other suggestions to spend your last day before break ended, but your child-like heart was set in ice skating, and Peter wanted nothing more than to make you happy.

Even if that meant making an ass out of himself.

How hard could it be? He swung from building to building and dodged plenty of bullets while parading in his alter-ego's identity, surely, he could handle gliding on ice, right? He hadn't noticed he wasn't paying attention to what you were saying until he noticed you stop walking. He turned to look at you, an eyebrow raised but a smile on your face nonetheless. He felt his cheeks burn just the slightest as he asked, "Sorry, what were you saying?" He only received a shake of your head as you walked closer to him. His hands instinctively went to your hips as yours wounded around his neck. You reached up and pecked his nose, giving him a small eskimo kiss. You laughed and pinched his brightened cheeks.

"Your nose looks so cute when it's red." Your hand then reached for one of his and you dragged him toward the ice rink, Peter still in a soft daze from your affection. "Here," you handed him the rented skates and guided him to an empty spot so you both could sit and swap out your shoes.

"Uh – (Y/N), maybe I could stay on this side of the wall, I'll shoot some pictures," he held up his camera, a shy smile on his face, "I bet you look really picturesque on ice." He smiled wider when he heard your laugh – something he argued was one of his favorite sounds in the world – and he couldn't resist snapping a quick photo as you laughed with your head tilted back.

"Don't be silly, babe," you walked up to him in your skates, wobbling a little. Peter reached out to steady you, guiding you closer to him as he subtly pressed your bodies together. "I wouldn't want you to miss out on the fun," your voice dropped to a whisper as you noticed how close your face was to Peter's.

"I'm having fun just standing here – in fact, I wouldn't mind just staying here, all day, as long as you stayed this close." His volume matched yours as he bent down to close the small gap between the two of you. His arms tightened around you as you tugged at his hair through the kiss. Every kiss Peter had with you, he swore it felt like the first. He stood up straight, managing to lift you up slightly off your feet. You hummed into the kiss, pulling away as soon as Peter's tongue glided across your bottom lip, only causing Peter to whine lowly.

"Baby," your hands brushed through Peter's hair, pushing it away from his face. He hummed in response, his eyes still closed as he still held you up. "Are you stalling?" At this question, Peter's eyes opened, wider than usual, as he settled you back onto the ground. "S-stalling?" you gave him a pointed look. "Don't be ridiculous, why would I stall?"

Peter's eyes looked everywhere except yours. You sighed, your hands coming up to rest on either side of Peter's face, bringing his attention back to you. "Petey, do you not know how to ice skate?" Under your hands, you felt his cheeks grow warmer, a smile casting on your face. You leaned up and pecked him again. "Why didn't you tell me?"

He sighed heavily, bringing his forehead down to rest on yours. "Because, you were so excited. I knew how much you wanted to come today."

"We could have done something else." You brought him into a hug, "Do you want to do something else?" You felt him shake his head against you. You pulled away and grabbed his hands. "Okay, I could teach you? My hands will never leave yours." He bit his lip slightly, looking out into the rink before looking back at you. His grip on your hands tightened as he slowly nodded, another smile making its way to your face.

You pulled him toward the entrance after helping him lace up his skates and stopped right before you were about to step on the ice. He looked at you, his eyebrows raised slightly. "What's wrong?" You didn't respond, looking from Peter back to the ice, your smile widening. "(Y/N)? What is it?"

You laughed a little, looking around you to make sure no one was listening before leaning into Peter, "I'm finally better than Spider-Man at something." You laughed louder as Peter pulled away from you, rolling his eyes playfully as he smiled down at you.

"Oh, shut up."
