Grocery Shopping with Tom

it's no secret tom hates dieting, he's said so in various interviews, but when it's during filming season, which he is currently in because of IW, he keeps in mind he needs to eat healthy. but, like most people in their early 20s, sometimes they fall off that rail. you promise to help keep him on his healthy food track - this meant helping him grocery shop because everyone knows tom is hopeless and has no self-control. as you're trying to decide whether you should pick up mangos or peaches, you turn to ask tom what he'd prefer, only to find out he isn't anywhere near you. you look down the aisles closest to you and don't see him so you decide on picking up both before you take your phone out, texting tom to find out where he is, god damn this boy, can't be trusted. as you're looking for a decent watermelon you feel your phone vibrate in your pocket

tommy boy: aisle 14! don't be mad.

you would roll your eyes at the text, you can already feel your teeth starting to ache imagining all that he picked up, and as you walk toward where he's at, you can see the countless boxes of oreo's and red vines and sour patch kid's in his arms as his eyes greedily scan the shelves for something else, "tom" you'd call out, and it wasn't until you walked up to him with your cart and put an arm around his waist did you get his attention. once his eyes met yours, you raised an eyebrow giving him an i don't think so sort of look, to which he pouted "but, love! these are for our cheat day. you know we can't quit cold turkey" and you look at him, and then to the contents in his arms. you knew how deprived he felt during shoots and you'd feel bad because tom hasn't gotten a break between filming and press tours lately, and it isn't like he'd be getting one anytime soon, the way he'd say yes to any and everything offered to him it seemed. so you hold your hands out, silently asking for the items so you could put them in the cart. after you did and you turned to face tom, he'd wrap is arms around you and kiss the top of your head "you get to pick the movie we watch with these snacks for the next two months" and as you looked at his childish grin you couldn't help but think it was a pretty sweet deal
