Don't trust the stranger

The beginning

"Coming " Mason yelled from upstairs as he got dressed and ran down stairs to his mom."did you do your homework " she asked looking over at him for a second then back at the Stove trying not to burn lunch
."no but I Will after we eat and what are we eating ?" He asked as he grabbed some plates from the pantry."grilled cheese and where's your sister ,I told her to be home by noon " his mom asked while taking the grilled cheese off the pan and putting it on his plate."I think she's over at Kelsey's ,want me to text her to come home ,also can I go hang out with James after I'm done eating" he asked while putting the grill cheese down and taking out his phone, it had a couple of cracks from dropping it a couple times through out the year."sure "she said concentrated on the pan and the grilled cheese. He ate his grilled cheese quickly and went to the garage to get his bike,what his Mom didn't know was that James was in Ohio with his grandparents ,he had to lie to his mom cause he is going to go hang out with Ava and his mom doesn't think he needs a girlfriend at his age but he didn't listen to her . he grabbed his bike ,opened the garage door and brought the bike out,closed the garage door then biked down the street while humming. Ava house was across the neighborhood and took forever to get to but it was worth it ,he eventually got there and put the kick stand up on his bike and knocked on the door. Her mom opened the door " is ivy here " he asked politely. " yes she's in her room " she moved to the side letting him in then after closing the door ,he went over to Ava's door and knocked "may I come in "."come  in" she yelled to him, she was watching TV while laying on her bed.
He sat on a chair in her room and texted his sister,Ally,{Mom wants you to come home} he sent it and looked at Ava "how are you " he asked while waiting for Ally to respond ."Bored and about to go to the park "Ava said as she turned the TV off then put shoes on. " Oooo sounds fu-" His phone beeped and he looked at it {I'll be there in a bit} Ally had texted him.
A couple minutes later mason and Ava were at the park, walking side by side talking about school and family. "So how's your sister "she asked while kicking a pebble." Well ever since my mom and dad divorced ,she won't talk to mom or dad and usually tries to get out of the house  "he said and looked at all the kids running around the park then back at Ava. " She will eventually start talking again " she paused for a second then continued " just give her time ". "okay then "he mumbled
