My hands shook against my chest, breath unable to enter my lungs, my knees ready to collapse any second. My heart hammered in my chest about to burst out of it, memories warning me of what's to come.

'Morana get it together!' I told myself, 'You didn't go through all of that to freak out now!' I nodded to myself trying desperately to calm down. This wasn't the time or place, I had to power through this.

Breathing in once more to clear my thoughts I entered the foreboding building, fixing my backpack so it sat more comfortable against my back. This was it, the first time since the accident, they wouldn't find me this time.

I pull a paper out of my pocket and scan it quickly, eyes flying over the paper lightning fast, the paper almost slipping out from sweat that was forming on my hands.

Period 1: English Classroom D-102
Period 2: History Classroom D-105
Period 3: Gym
Period 4: Art Classroom C-106
Period 5: Lunch
Period 6: Math Classroom D-103
Period 7: Science Classroom C-109
Period 8: History 2 Classroom D-106

At least they show the classroom number, even if it wasn't the first day for me- BRIIIIIIIIING!!

A loud and very obnoxious sound echoed throughout the building, it ripped me from my thoughts realizing that I was late. 'CRAP' I screamed in my head as I sped down the halls, searching each little number on the outside the doors of classrooms.

'Where was it?! It should be here!' I screamed in my head once more, I glared at the small paper in my hand. D-102 it read on the unhelpful paper, 'now' I told myself, 'where the HELL was it!?'

After searching and searching for a good 5 minutes I finally found the classroom. 'Great job Morana, now what' I scolded, truth be told I've only been taught at home, the only way I knew about "school" was in books I would read.

I akwardly stood outside the classroom door trying to think of a way to either slip in or be confident, the plan that was winning was running away from this whole thing. 'NO!' I yelled in my head, 'Its just a bunch of people, you can do this!'

I wobbled my way to the door nervous but determined, I had to do this, I wasn't going back. My hands trembled as they reached to knock, it was a miracle it even made a noise.

I was startled by the voice that soon erupted from the beyond the door, "Yes?" It asked in a feminine voice, slightly annoyed, "Umm I-I'm one of your new students? Morana Adria?" My voice shook as it forced out the words.

The door swung open and in it's place was a middle-aged well dressed lady, her face soft and motherly but strict in it's oncoming words, "You're late Miss Adria, I guess I should introduce you to the class now, huh?" She gestured me to come inside the room.

"Class," her voice commanded the room to look up from the rambunctious activities they started while the teacher was gone, "This is your new student, Morana Adria, please don't ruin her she seems nice." She pleaded looking at the class.

"Would you like to say something about yourself?" The teacher asked but I knew it was a command, "S-Sure." I stammered out, fuck, what the hell was I supposed to say?

"Any day now girly! God hurry the fuck up!" A arrogant voice called out, was I silent that long? I quickly thought of an idea, cause fuck that guy.

This guy was just like the assholes from back then, this school was most likely going to follow in the dudes footsteps, there was no reason to be nervous or afraid if it was going to be the same.

"Something about myself?" I asked, newfound comfortability and confidence finding it's way into my voice, the teacher nodded, plan is good to go.

"I know how to fight if that's something, so to that dude who just yelled at me can try me any time." I said, a cold smile finding itself on to my lips.

The dude looked slightly terrified, good. The guy trying desperately to regain his pride yelled out, "Fine! I bet I could beat you! You're just a pathetic girl!" He laughed afterwards fist bumping his bitch ass friends.

"If anything was pathetic it was that attempt to get your pride back Zachary." Voiced a student in the back, it turns out the voice belonged to a strong looking girl with blood red hair, I liked her immediately.

A sigh could be heard over the snickering of students, the teacher looked exasperated at the scene that had unfolded in front of her. Everyone looked at her, scared shitless.

"Get back to work, I'll be handing out another worksheet. Morana you can ask someone for help if your having trouble on the worksheet." She sighed out before slinking back to her desk.

I looked around the room trying to find a seat, I saw one next to the blood red haired girl, I found myself walking over and sitting myself down next to her.

"It's your first day here and you're the first one to break that jackasses pride, nice." She said with her hand out for a fist bump which I accepted.

"So Ice Queen, want brings you here to this shithole, nobody comes here willingly so spill." She said as if she had found the most interesting thing in the world, and that thing was apparently me.

"Ice Queen?" I questioned her, my hair is a very light blue, so it kind looks like frost, thats what I'm guessing what she meant by the Ice Queen thing. It doesn't hurt to ask though.

She just looked at me like I was crazy, "You talked as if you didn't give a shit, when you give no shits it's practically equivalent to being a cold heartless bitch. So BOOM! Ice Queen."

"I thought it was my hair," I grumbled twirling some of my hair with my fingers.

The girl looked up in thought, "That too I guess, ehhhhh, maybe," she scratched her head, "OH YEAH! You don't even know my name Icy, I'm Azar, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, I'm Morana Adria as I'm sure you already know." I said smiling genuinely, not a cold smile or threatening one, a nice regular old smile. It definitely felt weird.

She stared at me weird, I bet she was laughing internally at how unnatural I bet my smile looked, it had been awhile.

"Azar?" I questioned, waving my hand in front of her face, she looked like she was staring into nothing.

"W-What?" She stammered, looking away hiding a glistening in her eyes. Huh? "You started looking out in nothing, so I tried getting your attention." I explained quickly forgetting what I saw.

She just looked at me and sighed right before the bell rang. "Here's to hoping we have some classes together Icy." She said lifting her fist for me to bump it, I did right before cleaning up my stuff and heading out with Azar.
