- Harry's -
Her fingers tapped on the desk impatiently as she leaned on her elbow. Her eyes didn't lift off the computer screen once at all. She is an intimidating lady, I must admit. She looks very well put-together but it's the look in her eyes that make her seem scary.
I slouched in my seat, waiting for the worst to happen.
"Guess what I've been reading?" Claudia asked in a serious tone. I just stayed silent in my seat, playing with my fingers. "I've been reading news sites & teen gossip news. Do you know what they are saying, Harry?" she asked, already knowing the answer.
I stayed silent in my seat. I hate when people make me feel small and that's exactly what she likes to do. That's basically why we hate her, not in a hope you die way but in a more I hope a unicorn comes into your room at night and shave off your hair.
"They say you're apparently 'dating' this mysterious girl in your car!" she said, sounding like she's disgusted.
I sighed silently, hoping she didn't hear it. "What do you want me to do? Say she's just a friend? I'll do it now. I'll go on twitter." I reasoned out, already taking out my phone from my pocket. I was just pissed that she's treating me like a child right now.
"For god's sake, Harry. Do you still believe that a simple tweet can erase off such a rumour?" she replied coldly. Once again, she's able to make me feel so small with just the use of her words. "Did you know how long it took to die down on the whole Cara thing?!"
"Fine, I'll tweet about it a few times then. Can you stop yelling at me?" I replied a little more harshly.
It's not like she couldn't speak to me any nicely. It was an accident, why can't she just let it go? "Your little fans don't buy things like this Harry. How many times have we tried to put down 'Larry Stylinson'? Look how heated it still is now. Your fans have very strong opinions." she reminded me.
"Why are you so worried then? I'll just say it's a friend. If they don't buy it then it's their own problem. Why should I be concerned?" I answered back, feeling a little more angrier than I should have been. I was always one to keep my emotions under control but at moments like these, I just needed to show that I can't be messed around with.
Claudia ran her hand through her short hair, sighing out loud. "Harry, I am your PR Manager. I handle the relations you have with the public which includes your image. The image you bring out is as though you're some womanizer!"
"Well, you're the one who created that image for me, didn't you?" I replied monotonously. "You said it's better for me to be called a womanizer than be accused of being in a romantic relationship with the same gender."
Claudia sighed once again, trying to show her frustration. "I was trying to get you out of the media's eyes. Your fans are making it so difficult for any of you boys to be around each other without being accused of such relations. I'm just undoing what was done."
"Seriously--"
"The past is the past." she interrupted. "I want to remove that womanizer title from you but you're making it so hard. Do you know how far I had to go to clear up the 'dumping Taylor' rumours?"
"What do you want me to do, then?" I sat up, staring right at her. "Seclude myself from girls? Don't go a mile close to any girl at all? Why can't I just go out & have fun with my friends who happen to be girls and not be pictured on ClevverTV or TMZ?" I argued.
This was exactly what management planned for me and now their own plans have bitten them on their butts. When the other boys go out with girls, everyone's fine with it but the minute I come two steps close to a girl, the whole world puts their attention on me. I could blame management for everything but I'm under their slave contract, right?
