Prologue

  Hello fellow reader - I present to you a tale that shall slowly evolve to focus on two of my prime characters. These two characters would happen to be Emi(ly) and Ethan Mayer in case there needed to be clarification. However, in order to understand the full scope of who these characters are, you first need to learn their backstories.

  Prepare yourself for a front row seat into the heartbreaking tears, vanishing love and ever growing despair that envelope their world.

It will not be easy to read for some or even enjoyable, but please stick with me. I have attempted to fabricate them into people who have a spark of hope and liveliness despite the trauma and uneasy childhoods they have endured.

It will not be a happy story neither in plenty of cases, but it must be understood that the behavior these two have grown up with stems from how they were raised up. It will also demonstrate just how these children have evolved based upon the habits and actions of their own parents over a span of their lifetime.

Why not as well begin before the beginning of this all, a time where two people meet to simply have a relationship, but without realizing they had simply set a course for doom to consume their future loving family.

This story, once again, may not be pretty and may have some topics that may be difficult for some audience members. These chapters shall be clearly noted at the beginning with a trigger warning. These topics may also be intended for older readers.

I sincerely hope that this will assist in explaining several questions that may have formed about these characters, and that as this progresses it will lead to a more present day storyline.

As a side note, this storyline does not correlate directly to the diary and journal belonging to Emi(ly) and Ethan (which no longer exists). I believe that is about everything. With all the bases covered, please enjoy.
