The Girl Stuck with Demons

Chapter 4

I find myself somewhere I don’t know where; it looks like I’m in a forest, but with all these weird plant and animal that I’ve never seen before, then I hear something in the bushes. I go over to the bushes to see what the sound was, but as I do Alex pops out the bushes and knocked me to the ground when I look up again, I see David smiling; he says something but I don’t get to hear it, then as I turn to Alex again, he was ready to kill me. I wake up noticing that it was only a nightmare, I look at the cloak “3:16am” I say touching my head. I see Alex and David sleeping they look as cute as kittens I say in my head probably because they are kittens. I notice that David doesn’t have a pillow to sleep on; I left up his head and give him my pillow. Then I lie down and fall asleep once again.

“Hey Ivy, can you um, get off of me please?” David said “what?” I say still half asleep when I notice that I’m hugging David; I blush and get off of him and end up hitting Alex’s head with my head “Ow, what was that for?” Alex says. “Ops sorry Alex” I said rubbing where I hit him “yeah Ivy was just hugging me” David said winking at me “what! You give him a hug but not me!?” Alex says. Then Alex hugs me and he making us turn so that I’m in the end of the bed “there now we are even” Alex says smiling at me “god you guys, do two fight about everything?” they only smiled, it kind of scares me how I’m use to this now. “Hey don’t we have school today?” David said looking at me

I quickly look at the time “oh it’s just 7:30” I said before I remembered “wait what no, we are going to be late to the bus! Hurry and get ready!” I say getting up from the bed.

I get my clothes and I change in front of Alex and David not caring as they do the same. Once we are outside I have a piece of toast I’m my mouth, with my shoes untied, and book bag hanging from my arm. Alex and David also has a piece of toast in their mouth (I stole two more from the kitchen), and untied shoes, and their book bags on them. When we get to the bus stop we are just in time. When we get on the bus we sat the same way as yesterday (Alex and David sit together and I sit with Briana) and when I sit I finish my toast and tie my shoes. Briana finally gets on the bus and sees me (I didn’t have time to brush my hair) and she gets out her emergency brush and starts to brush my hair. When she is finish with me Briana gives it to David and the Alex to brush their hair.

When we get to school Carly is waiting at the front of the building door and when she sees us (actually meaning Alex, David) she comes walking to us. “Hey boys” Carly said and looking straight at me she says “I see that your parents hit you and I can get why they do” she took a little pause “it’s because you are not wanted here or anywhere I this world” Carly said smiling “and your parents said if you lay one finger on me, they will be certain to punish you” Carly said she started to giggle. “Hey stop it” Alex says, but before he could say anything else I say “hey, stop with that stupid giggling of yours and stop messing with me, I don’t care what my parents say to you, but just because you have no friends does not mean you can mess with me because your jealous and there my friends are real not like your fake friends” I say now glaring down on her with an evil smile. She frowns, glares and try’s to slap me but I stopped her hands before she could hit me.

Then just for the fun of it I start to whisper “Did I forget to mention that I have friends that can get the whole school against you, how silly of me to forget something so important” still holding her hand. She suddenly looks at my cast (I still have it on and I had forgotten all about it) then as if she finally fallen because she actually hit my broken arm. There was a burning feeling at first from the tip of my hand she hit and then slowly the burning spread through my whole arm, I let go of her hand and start biting my lips so no sound would come out, hoping the pain would go away. “So how about one of you two guys come with me tonight at eight?” Carly said winking at them did she really have the nerve to say that after she went as low as to hit my broken arm?  I guess so. “No I will never go out with an ungrateful girl” Alex said pressing pressure on my bad on (it didn’t help at all, but I didn’t feel like disturbing them) “yeah me too and I would never date an ugly person like you” David said. Then we go inside the school leaving Carly alone in the front door. “I’m okay now, thank you” I say rubbing my cast we get to class and we sit down.
