The Girl Stuck with Demons

When I wake up I see Briana, Alex, and David “oh good, your awake” Briana said I could tell that she has been crying by her red eyes. “What happened” I say trying to get up “no you can’t get up you need rest” Briana said and I can see a tear come down her cheek then I see Alex stare at something in my face. “What do I have something in my face?” I ask scared of the answer Briana elbows Alex and that tells me yes. I hurry and get up not caring what they said and now I see now why they didn’t want to saw anything “I’m sorry” I hear one of them say.

When I looked at the mirror I saw just a scar in my left cheek I smile “aw come on, that’s what you didn’t want me to see” I said looking at Briana and then Alex points at my body. I look down and I see a bunch of scratches and buries then I hear one of them say again “I’m sorry” and then I feel paralyzed. “Why, why does this happen to me why couldn’t your dad just take me instead of letting me live, I’m always such a damn burden” I ask sitting in the ground putting my head in my bruised knees. “What do you mean their dad?” Briana asks kneeling in front of me “Briana I, Alex, and David have been keeping a big secret from you” I say looking at Briana. I get on the bed and tell Briana everything but the part where they can turn into cats.

“So, that means they can kill us if we get in there bad side?” Briana said whispering in my ear I let out a smile and say “yup”. There is knock in the door it’s my parents with my two sisters “Vladimir!” Catty said crying to me “hey it’s okay I’m going to live” I say giving a fake smile even though she is squeezing my leg (which really hurts). “Hey little sis” Ginger says I could tell she has been crying too “why do you always get yourself injured” Ginger says standing next to me “maybe because I don’t look where I’m going” I say smiling Ginger smiles back. “Mom, Dad don’t you have something to Vladimir” Ginger said looking at them I too look at them seeing how both of them are scratching their heads.

“Sweetie” (he hasn’t called me that since I don’t know when) Dad said looking at me “we were the ones who gave Carly those pictures but she said that she and you were doing a project together with baby’s” Dad said coming towards me. “I didn’t know that she was going to do this” Mom said looking at me with sad eyes “mom, dad I’m sorry that I have not been a good daughter” I said feeling tears coming down my cheek. “No we are sorry for not being good parents” Mom said standing beside me “I didn’t know why we did those things to you but I want you to know that for now on we will never do that to you ever again” Dad said holding my hand “if you like everything will be as it like right now or similar times” Mom said holding my other hand.

“I would like it as it is right know” I say smiling “are you sure?” Dad said with one eyebrow up “yes” I said still smiling. I said yes because if they start to pay attention to me either my big sister or little sister will lose their attention and I don’t want that to happen to them. There is a knock at the door of course it is the doctor “hey it’s good to see you again” the Doctor said smiling “well it seems that you have major injuries and I have good news and bad news which one do you want to hear first” the Doctor said. I think for a while and I finally said “I want to hear the bad news first” looking at the doctor as he’s looking at me too.

“Okay then, the bad news is that the scar in your face is too deep so it will leave a mark” the Doctor said and I could feel my mom’s hand squeezing my hand. “The good news is that all the other scars and buries will go away” the Doctor said smiling and I can feel my mom’s hand letting go of my hand. “How much will it take for me to heal” I said letting go of my parent’s hand “about a week if you take care of yourself and take the medication I give you everyday” the Doctor said smiling. “Do I have to stay here or can I leave and go to school” I said looking as serious as ever “whichever you would like” the Doctor said smiling and leaving the room. “Can we go home now” I said smiling at my parents.
