The White King reviews by the experts predict the quality you will be getting as you start watching it from the begging. This is a tale o a 12-yrear-old boy (Djawa) who is growing up in a brutal dictatorship. Everything seems perfect, unless his father (Peter) is imprisoned labeled as a traitor. Djata and his mother (Agyness Deyn) take the responsibility of knowing whereabouts of Peter and are not going to rest until they see his father again. The two are forced to navigate a terrible world that they call home, in order to reunite their family.
This is an intriguing but ultimately underwhelming feature with a strong cast headed by youthful newcomer Lorenzo Allchurch. The White King is a feature debue of Alex Helfrecht and Jörg Tittel and has been recognized to be as an impressive futuristic tale, very much Eastern European in tone.
