Chapter 21

ASHLEY'S POV

As we walked to my house, Ross grabbed my hand and started swinging it around. I heard him humming something I couldn't make out as I went up to my door and knocked on it. Mom opened the door and she said, "Oh hey, Ash and Ross, do y'all wanna come in and help?" We nodded our heads and went inside.

After a very long time, I was getting really tired and I could tell Ross was getting tired too. I looked at the clock and said, "Its already 9:00, maybe you should be heading home." He nodded his head and said, "Yeah I guess so... bye Ash." He gave me a hug and I said, "Bye!"

As he left I felt sad but I knew I just had to get over it. I would surely see him tomorrow. Then I got a text saying, 'Hey I have austin & ally tomorrow wanna come?'

I was literally jumping up and down in excitement. Hmmm stay home or go meet the cast of my favorite tv show???? I'M GOING! I texted him back and said 'sure will u drive me?' he instantly said, 'ya pick u up @ 7'

I told him 'kk I'm going to bed! gn' he instantly said 'kk gn beautiful'

I smiled and put my phone away and decided to go to sleep.

The Next Morning

I woke up at 6 and got dressed and did my hair, then I went downstairs to eat some yogurt before Ross picks me up. By 7, I was waiting on the porch outside with my phone in my hand, scrolling through instagram.

He finally showed up and he rolled down the window, smiled, and said, "Hey cutie." I smiled at him and said, "Good morning Ross."

As he started driving down the road, I plugged my iPod into his car speakers and let it play on shuffle. We jammed out to Ain't No Way We're Going Home and Loud on the way to the studio.

Once we got there, he told me to wait before I got out. I watched him walk over and open my door. I said, "Awww thanks you're such a sweetie." Then he said, "I've been told..." I laughed a little and followed him into the studio and into his dressing room.

He told me to sit on the couch while he went to hair and makeup. About 15 minutes later, Laura walked into the dressing room and said, "Oh hi! Ummm I was looking for Ross, do you know where he is?" I told her, "He is in hair and makeup," and she said, "Thanks. I haven't seen you here before. I'm Laura, and you are?"

I said, "I'm Ross' girlfriend, Ashley, but you can call me Ash." Oh I loved saying that. I looked at her as she said, "Oh ok, how long have you guys been, umm, dating?" That was weird, its almost as if... OMG I think she likes Ross! This isn't good. Surely she won't try to get between us or anything. "Um, we started dating two days ago," I told her.

She then said, "Oh cool. Well I have to go back to set. I'm sure you are welcome to watch us film if you would like!" I said, "Sure! Oh and by the way Austin and Ally is my favorite tv show. I love it!" She smiled at me and said, "Awww thanks Ash! Here, I will lead you to the set."

She led me to the set then she went back to the hair and makeup room. I feel like she really likes Ross and was kind of disappointed to hear I was his girlfriend. Oh well, I hope she will be nice to me.

A Few Hours Later

After watching them do dozens of takes, Ross drove me over to Dairy Queen and we ate some ice cream. "So, did you enjoy watching us film?" he asked me. I nodded my head with a smile and said, "Of course! I love Austin and Ally and it was so cool to be on a tv set and get to see my favorite actors do their thing! And Laura was really sweet to me when she came to look for you earlier."

Then he said, "Um... I don't know if you really want to be friends with Laura. She has this thing about me that is really weird and she is so clingy and..." I looked at him in the eyes and said, "Ross, I know she likes you. You don't have to be weird about it. It doesn't bother me. I mean, come on, you're famous and like a zillion girls like you. It's totally fine. I understand, I used to be one of those girls who I thought would never get to meet you and not only did I meet you, you are my boyfriend and its so surreal."

He smiled at me and said, "You sure you are okay with Laura? Cause I don't mind doing something about it." I nodded at him and said, "Sweetie its totally fine! Don't worry. So what do you wanna do after this?"

He thought for a little and said, "How about we swing by your house and you can grab a swimsuit and then we can go to the beach?" I nodded and he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of Dairy Queen.
