Sure it may have been safe and less threatening, but let’s face it everyone would love to kill and be in a big adventure. Meeting new people, going to new places you never knew existed, learning new moves (of how to kill your enemy), doing magic and spells. I mean come on who wouldn’t like to switch places with me? I bet a lot of people (probably smart people) but I’m the type to take chances not the other people who like to know everything.
I don’t know why I was thinking about that at a time like this because really….I should be focusing on hurting the person in front of me or the back. But I do, it makes me kind of sad that I will never have a normal life where I can sleep peacefully at night, easily get food and eat like a fatty, to talk to your best friend, to have a boyfriend (even though I never had one I think that’s counts as a normal life). Then again I’m happy that I have this crazy life with running away, not being able to sleep, always on your toes, worried about people, and even though those sound horrible I love it.
Sooner or later the fighting stops once the guards finally got to their heads that they are losing and started vanishing with other people in their arm. Once all of vanished and gone all the Animals cheered and roared with happiness I didn’t though, I fell to the ground laughing as hard as I could. I can’t believe that I fought my first battle it felt good, not the whole blood and killing part, just the winning I couldn’t believe that we won not saying anything bad but you know……we won!
But of course I don’t celebrate with the rest of the Animals because I pass out….but that’s what losing to much blood and fighting a lot does to you.
I wake up on a bed, it’s huge and the blanket is a deep blue with black designs that look like spider webs. When I look to my right I see a door that has a deep green doorknob, a very simple lamp, and a glass of water. I look at my left and find another door also with a deep green doorknob, and another simple lamp the only difference was a baby cub sleeping peacefully next to me. “She’s the Lion and Lioness daughter, she wanted to be in the same room with you” I don’t move around too much so I won’t wake her, but I still wake her up somehow. “Good morning” she said “my name is Sophia” I smile “good morning to you too Sophia” I get up and sit on the bed “can you keep a secret, my princesses?” I say getting out of the bed “where are you going?” she asked also sitting on the bed “I need to go somewhere else” I say getting my bag that they probably got from the battle “so please don’t say anything about me going okay?” she nodes and I go out of the room.
Once I get out the room the hallways are huge, maybe about three feet tall. All the walls have paintings of Lions, probably the old Kings all those paintings are on the left but one the right are Lioness…the past Queens. I start running down the hallway I to find a window or maybe the door to go outside. While I run I look both right and left to find a window or a door.
After many turning my head left and right I finally find a window. I go to the window which is really big maybe three feet tall…maybe I wasn’t the best in math. I find a way to open the window but then sirens go off. I curse of course they are going to have sirens everywhere “Loki’s still in my head, right?” I asked Diana “yes, he has been here since the battle” she answered I jump out of the window right after she said that. I really regret jumping and not seeing how high I was, which was four story’s high but luckily I remember I have wings and before hitting the ground I let them out…I start flying holding my bag in my hand and wincing a little from my injured back I fly fast so they won’t be able to see my red wings. When I’m far enough for them not to see me I turn and look at the kingdom, it’s beautiful.
The walls are like the snow, clean and white there is (to my surprise) are windows but most on the second and third floor mostly. The whole building is big enough to hold at least a hundred rooms or more, in the front lawn it’s full of flowers of every color all lined up depending on the color…like a rainbow! There is a pathway running to the front door and the woods outlined with, what looks like a vines twirled up looking even prettier. It was too bad I couldn’t look around the back because when I saw the first bird fly up, I knew I had to leave.
