Prologue
The Hunger Games are brutal. Each year the Capitol takes a boy and a girl from each district from the ages of 12-18 and here in Panem they are called tributes. They are brought into an arena to fight to the death. The Capitol says they have been made so that they could remind us of the Dark Days. So let the Hunger Games begin!
