Chapter 24

Just let you know I didn’t lose my virginity, all we did was make out (and don’t worry no clothes were taking off). I wake up and it’s really bright in the room I turn my head to face Eloy, he’s still sound asleep I didn’t want to wake him up so I left the room without waking him. The hallway still grossed me out, with all the dead animals but I ignored them and kept walking now then, where’s the kitchen? I can smell food somewhere close.

I follow the smell and it feels like I walked a mile already this is why I don’t like mansions, you can easily get lost, and you have to walk a lot. After what seems like a long walk, I finally get to the kitchen and I was right…some people are cooking. “Who in tarnation are you?” a woman asked, she looked old enough to be my grandma but had the energy of a five year old, and she was black with silver hair with a white and red polka-dotted apron and under that was an old green dress. She was controlling everything around her without touching them magic I thought to myself I took a step inside and said “I came here with Eloy” I think I blushed when I said he’s name because she had the big smile on her face “well! Congratulations to both of yawl” she said “the names Gran” she said.

“Are you hungry, my dear?” Gran said she came walking towards me taking my hands and shaking it up and down. I nodded but then added “but I will serve myself” she stops shaking my hand and says “nonsense dear, it’s my kitchen and my rules” then she added “the first rule is no one touches my utensils or food”. I laughed “I should have thought, ok then I just simple toast with mayo” I said getting out of the kitchen. “Aren’t you going to eat with the whole family dear?” she asked the WHOLE family I thought about it then shook my head “no, I don’t like being the center of attention” this time she laughed “now, now dearie that’s no excuse for not meeting the whole family” I smiled I guess she’s right. I sighed and I stayed in the kitchen waiting for the rest of the people to wake up and go to the table, in the meanwhile I learned a lot about Gran. She is a witch, born in New York (she didn’t want to tell me the year), her parents are died and they died happily together, she doesn’t have a husband or any kids because she says that having kids would make her seem old.

I told her a lot about myself too and when I told her I was a Fallen Angel she took it pretty good and didn’t try to kill me, after that we both had our good laughs. That’s when a bell on the ceiling rang Gran stopped what she was doing and said “the time has come to find the big family” she had a big grin on her face. And before she could do anything else she added “but first we need to change that outfit of yours” I chuckled and as if time had stop for a second, I have different clothes on. “Whoa!” I said looking down at myself; I’m wearing a shirt that fits me way too big (it goes up to my thigh) it’s gray with written green words that say “There’s Something Special in All of Us”, and I have on black shorts that go up to my knee. “how-” I started to say but she quickly said “now, now go ahead to the table” she winked, then she snapped her fingers and I was (what I guessed) in the dining room this is too much, I mean why couldn’t she just given me clothes? But at the same time it was cool since they had no trouble doing anything.

The table is not that bog it could hold at least twelve people must be a really big family there was only two people sitting on the table…Jimmy and someone else. “Good morning Ivy!” he said jumping out of his chair and running up to me, he had Mario and Luigi PJ’s “hello there Jimmy” he grabbed my hand and started pulling me towards to a chair “I know where you’re going to sit, I would sit next to you if daddy would have let me” he said practically skipping to the third to last chair the other one didn’t say or do anything. “This is where you’re going to sit, I’m the youngest of my family so I’m going to sit not too far from you” Jimmy said as I sat on the chair, Jimmy sat on the last chair to my right and the other on sat next to him. I didn’t question why I HAD to sit there, I just sat there and I asked “so what’s your name?” he seemed to lighten a bit that I talked to him, he had brown hair and hazel blue eyes, he also had a peach color skin and he wore the same PJ’s as Jimmy. “My name is Dan, I’m Jimmy’s older twin” that was kind of obvious, since they look the same I smile “I’m Ivy”.  

As is on cue Eloy came through the door and he still looked sleepy, he didn’t seem to notice me “good morning Eloy!” Jimmy and Dan both said he waved at them as he sat across from me. Before I could say anything Jimmy started giggling and said “did you have a good night sleep?” Jimmy put his finger on his mouth he wants me to stay quiet? Dan then started to giggle too I looked at Eloy (I would have said he was asleep) as he said “mm, I had a wonderful night” I could see his face turn red (as mine did too) and his big grin, I couldn’t help but laugh and Jimmy laughed with me.

My laugh is what made Eloy finally wake up “how-when did you get here?” Eloy asked stuttering on his words “I’ve been here the whole time; if you were awake you would have noticed me” his mouth was wide open and his face was red, but I think my face was red too because he started laughing with Jimmy and I. “Well, I see that you have already made friends with Jimmy” a voice said from the door we all turn to look to find that the voice was Nick. “Daddy!” Jimmy said the added “good morning!” ran up to his dad, then Dan came running to his dad too they both gave him a big hug “morning dad” Eloy said and he also gave him a hug. I’m the only on that didn’t get up “good morning” Nick said as he sat at the head of the table “morning Nick” I answered. There was an awkward silence until one of the other brothers came inside the room “well now!” he said (he had a loud voice) he kept walking as he said “Eloy! I never thought you would have such a cute little girl as your soul mate” Eloy coughed little? I got a little annoyed that he called me “little” but I didn’t show it “Thanks for your support, Finn” Finn sat down next to Eloy.

“So what is your name” Finn asked he had blond hair and black eyes and pale peach skin, he kind of looked evil but with that nice smile on his face it was hard to believe that. “Ivy” I said with a smile that’s when I notice something really strange, there isn’t anyone sitting in my side of the table, but I didn’t say anything.

Another one came in, he had red hair and blue eyes nobody, except for Dan and Jimmy, look alike everything is made differently he sat and the end if the chair in my left without saying a word. At first I thought it was just because he’s cranky and hated this family, but then he hits his on the table and everyone (but me) laughs. “He was still asleep when he came in” Eloy explains the boy jerks up again saying “ouch” and they all laugh again.
