Why are Airports so busy? Is what I was thinking walking through the crowds and crowds of people. As I turned the corner towards Gate C I stopped dead in my tracks. She looked beautiful. Her hair is even more vibrant in real life than it is in video chats. I ran over to her and wrapped my arms around her.
I heard a gasp and then heard her say, "Hey Lea, I love you," and she pulled my chin up to her soft lips and kissed me softly but with passion.
As she let me go from her embrace I took a deep breath and told her that my mom was waiting for us in the car.
We walked outside into the beating Alabama heat. It wasn't even summer yet and it was almost 80 degrees outside. "Holy shit," she said as we walked outside into the oven and sure enough my mom was on the phone with my brother.
"Oh, here they come. Gotta go, bye," she quickly whispers as she hangs up and turns to greet us. "Hey," she says and that's it.
Anna: Your mom's kinda antisocial, huh?
Me: Yep :)We slide into the car and go to my house and hang out for a couple of days. Sometimes we went to the bluff to smoke some joints. After a week though, she had to leave and go home. I'm glad my dad was nice when she was here.
