Chase x Everest | Discontinued :( |

The Crush

Whenever Everest goes down to visit the pups, Skye and Everest always like to catch up with each other, but they mainly talk about the guys.

Everest: "So Skye, who do you like?"

Skye: "Honestly, I like Rocky, I think it's so cute how he hates water. But I really like Marshall, he's a bit clumsy, but I think it's really cute and I blush a bit every time he trips up. Enough about me, how about you, who do you like? Everest?"

Everest was too busy staring at Chase. When Skye looked at her female canine companion, she saw the eyes of someone who was starring at her crush.

Everest thought to herself: " he's so dreamy, he's handsome, he tough, and he's the leader"

Skye looking over Everest smirking: "I bet I can guess"

Everest (blushing): "C-can you. I-is it r-really that obvious?"

Skye: "yea it is, you should ask him out".

Everest:" I would b-but I don't think he likes me".

Skye: " Want me to ask? "

Everest: "S-sure." Everest Is Now blushing redder than Marshals fire truck.

(Skye walks over to chase)

Skye: "Hi chase, we need talk in private, but first, it's not about me."

Chase: "sure, let's go behind the lookout."

Skye fallowed Chase behind the lookout

Chase: " Alright Skye, what's up?"

Skye: " Is there anypup that you like"

Chase in a nervous tone:" No, not really". As he says this he begins to blush a slight red.

Skye:" I can see you blushing, mr tuff pup, can u tell me who it is"?

Chase is now blushing a crimson red and starting to look away and avoid making eye contact:" I don't know, I don't think she'd accept me."

Skye:" but maybe she will now tell me."

Chase still blushing:" o-o-okay, w-well its y-you."

Now chase was starting to sweat. Skye noticed he wasn't kidding

Skye:" Sorry chase I don't like You like that."

Chase could  fell the tears welling up inside of him: "It's okay, I've never really been a ladies pup, I bet no one even likes me."

Everest over heard the whole thing and started to cry a bit, she thought to herself : " but chase, I do, no, I don't like you, I love you."

After that chase went to a cliff were he could cry all he wanted and no pup would notice. But this time Everest followed .

As chase got to the cliff and began to quietly cry and he thought out loud to himself: "no pup ever liked me, even at the police academy, I was the best there, and I asked a girl out, and I got rejected, harshly.

His crying began to pick up when he felt some pup nuzzling him. He looked over to see who it was. Everest. Normal he would move or ask them to stop because he did want to look soft. But he could tell he was going to depress himself if he didn't have any pup or thing to cheer him up.

Chase in a very low and sad tone: " h-hey Everest, s-sorry you have to s-see me like this."

Everest:" It's okay, everyone's feelings get hurt at one point or another, but Skye wasn't lying, there is another pup that likes you, but I'm not sure if you'd accept her."

Everest started to blush a bright red, but chase didn't notice.

Chase still in a low, sad tone:"I think your trying to make me feel better, I'm pretty desperate, they should know this."

Everest still blushing:" what if I have her ask you out tomorrow."

Chase in a happier:" that would be nice."

And the spent the rest of that night talking about the last mission they had together. Everest was staying with the pups for about 2 weeks, so Chase and Everest walked back together.

Skye went and talked to Everest after Chase wasn't around:" hey Everest, what happened up on that cliff."

Everest blushing a bit:" well, I'm going to ask him out tomorrow, he was really upset about a rejection a little will back at his police academy. And the best things is, when I went to nuzzle him(now blush a very noticeable crimson red)he didn't stop me, my heart almost stopped and I was so happy."

Skye:" well good luck, but I think he will fall in love with you real quick."

Chase is now in his pup house thinking to himself:" but who will it be" then chase stared to think about the positives of Everest:"her beautiful
white and dark blue fur, her glistening blue eyes, her amazing voice and personality, but she probably doesn't like me ether."

Chase decided to get some sleep for the date tomorrow, still trying to guess who could be, he fell into a deep, sleepy dream.
