Much to Yongguk's word, he took Namjoon to his favorite café. The elder always wondered why did his younger brother liked the café so much. At first, the assassin thought it was because of the name, but at the same time, he thought that couldn't be the reason. Considering the café was called Pink Garden. So, Yongguk quickly tossed that theory away. His second theory, on the other hand, seemed to be the right reason. There was this waiter that worked the morning shift that seemed to have caught Namjoon's eye. Yongguk could tell with the way his younger brother constantly stared at the gorgeous man. Of course, Yongguk was naturally very overprotective of his little brother, especially when it came to guys Namjoon liked. However, this particular man didn't seem to bad. At least, from what Yongguk could see.
Being seated in a booth by the handsome waiter, Yongguk glanced down at the menu to see what he wanted to order. "Hello. My name is Seokjin, I will be your waiter today. May I start you guys off with a drink?" The waiter asked while pulling out a small note pad and pen from his pocket.
Namjoon was the first to answer. "I would like a glass of orange juice." The younger couldn't tear his gaze away from the waiter as he wrote down his drink. Namjoon heard his older brother's deep chuckle, and turned his head to send him a small glare.
Yongguk was highly amused right now with the way his little brother was behaving around the handsome waiter. "A cup of coffee would be great, thank you." The assassin didn't look up from the menu even as the waiter walked away from their table to get their drinks. After deciding what he wanted to eat for breakfast, Yongguk set down the menu against the table and looked at Namjoon. "You like that waiter, don't you?"
Instantly, Namjoon's faces turned beet red. He had not expected Yongguk to say that out of nowhere. Well, actually, in a way he had expected his older brother to say that. So, there wasn't really any point in denying it. Lowering his gaze rather shyly, Namjoon nodded his head. "Yes. I do like him."
Yongguk perked an eyebrow. Okay, Namjoon had admitted to that quickly. He thought the younger would at least deny it a little before actually admitting it. There goes Yongguk's little fun of teasing his younger brother. Oh well. "I see. Well, he does seem like a nice guy. Maybe you can try getting his number when he comes back."
Namjoon's face turned beet red. There was no way he could ever ask the handsome waiter for his number. He was far too shy to even think about doing that. "You know I can't do that, hyung. You know I don't have any confidence in myself to even tell a guy, or even a girl for that manner, I like them."
Yongguk sighed deeply, lightly shaking his head shortly after. The elder disliked whenever his younger brother would say things like that. It always made him upset whenever Namjoon thought he wasn't good enough for anyone. "Joonie. I tell you this all the time. You are a very handsome guy. I know any guy or girl would be so happy to date you. Trust me."
Namjoon lightly bit the inside of his cheek while lowering his eyes. He knew he should have more confidence in himself, but it was difficult. "I want to trust you, but how do you know that, Hyung? Do you really think a guy or girl could ever like me?" The younger man looked back up, his eyes meeting Yongguk's.
Yongguk smiled warmly, one of his hands reaching out to gently grab one of Namjoon's. "I do. Joonie, you're a amazing person. Sure, you may be a little clumsy at times, but that just adds to your charm. Trust me, there is someone out there for you. Who knows," Yongguk glanced over to the waiter who was returning to their table with their drinks. "The person you are looking for could be right here."
"Here are your drinks." Seokjin placed the drinks in front of the brothers and gave them a kind smile. "Have you both decided on what to order?" Again, the waiter pulled out his note pad and pen from his pocket.
