Douglas led the way to the X-ray room with Adam and the unconscious Allison behind him. They passed the quiet Ender dragon hybrid receptionist, past the big lobby room, and into another hallway that was labeled "Surgery, Labor, and X-ray". Below that sign, were the rooms.

Surgery....... Room 152
Labor....... Room 158
X-ray....... Room 164

"Room 164 for X-rays," Douglas said, pointing at and reading the sign. "I'm not here often, so I forget a lot."

"Ah," Adam said and nodded. Allison shifted a little, then exhaled through her nose. Douglas led the way to the X-ray room down the hallway.

They soon got there and Douglas opened the door for Adam. He nodded thanks and went through the door. Inside was just what you'd expect in an X-ray room; X-ray table, X-ray machine, a control panel, and another room next to the table with a glass window that let those in it see through. It also had a few computers and a control panel in it as well.

A human doctor came out of the other room, followed by an Enderman doctor. They shook hands with Douglas as greetings, and introduced themselves to Adam.

"I'm Dr. Snefgrof," the human Doctor said.
"And I'm Bob," the Enderman said. Dr. Snefgrof playfully punched Bob on his shoulders. "Okay, okay. My real name is Dr. Endernyk." (Don't question the doctors' last names, especially you, Emma. Hisss).

"I'm Adam, and this is Allison." Adam said, pointing at himself then pointing at her.
"Cute dragon," Dr. Endernyk said. "Is she your pet?"
"Erm, no. She's my friend..."
"Oh ok. So she's your friend friend... None of that, right?"

Adam blushed as soon as the Enderman said that. "No... No no no. None of that... Holy Notch." He muttered the last part, not loud enough for Dr. Endernyk to hear.

"Soooo," Dr. Snefgrof interrupted. "Let's do whatever we're gonna do... My lunch is getting cold."
"Yeah, hurry so piggy Snefgrof can eat!" The Enderman joked.
"I am not THAT piggy... You eat more than me!"
"Erm, have you seen the pile of wasted food under the table?"

"OK CHANGING SUBJECTS!" Douglas had to yell. The two doctors snapped to attention.

"Ah, yes, right. So, why are you guys here, and what do you want done?" Dr. Snefgrof asked.
"Isn't that basically the same question?"
"Ah, yeah true."
"Well, we need to get some X-rays on Allison on a few limbs."
"I can tell. Her leg doesn't look good, nor does her wing."
"That's what broke, well, that's what we think broke. I haven't gotten the whole story yet."
"Well we can put her on the table and get a look."

Adam shifted Allison's weight and walked over to the table. He set her down, and walked back into the other room, where the others went. He could've sworn he heard her sigh as she became cold again.

"Left limbs, yes?" Dr. Endernyk asked.
"Yep," Adam replied.
"Ok, let's get this running."

The X-ray machine buzzed and it turned on, rattling for a few seconds. It obviously wasn't new technology. Dr. Snefgrof walked next to the table, and adjusted Allison so her wing could be X-ray picture taken. He grabbed a semi-heavy and thick cover to block the rest of her body from showing up in the image, and put it on her.

He then walked back to the other room, and stepped in front of the control panel. He pressed a few buttons, and the machine rattled again. Pressing a red button in the bottom right corner, the lights dimmed, and the machine flashed a blue light onto the area that it could see. A second later, the lights returned to normal, and the blue light disappeared. Yeah. Such old technology.

A light and dark gray image showed up on one of the computers. It was labeled "AllisonLeftWing.img" and it showed Allison's wing bones. The bottom half of the wing (the part that is connected to the shoulder to the "elbow" out on the wing) was okay, but it was the second half that wasn't.

In the middle of the forearm bone, a huge fracture appeared that separated the bone in two. The other "fingers" on the wing were fine, but that one fracture was bothering. Adam almost choked. He coughed to cover it up.

"Oh," Dr. Snefgrof said. "That's worse than we thought. That must be painful, how can she stand that?" He was staring at the material between the broken apart bone. Hard scar tissue replaced the muscle in the area, and it was being shredded away constantly with the sharp bone fracture. "That's gonna be a bloody mess."

"Well," Adam said. "One, she's unconscious and two, the leg might not be so bad, we should find out."
"Let me save the image first," Dr. Endernyk said. He right clicked the image, clicked "Save image" and made a new folder for it. He put it in the folder, and renamed the folder "Allison X-ray".

"Does it not save if you make another image?" Adam asked.
"I believe so, but I don't think they want to take any chances," Douglas suddenly said. Adam forgot he was there.

Dr. Snefgrof walked out of the little room and over to Allison. He adjusted her to where her leg was under where the blue light would show up, and her body was covered by the heavy cover.

"Ok, time for the leg," Dr. Endernyk said. He clicked some things on the computer, then pressed the red button again. The machine reacted the same way as before.

Allison's broken leg in grayscale appeared on the screen. The knee cap was shifted out of place, and the thighbone was cracked in half. Adam was right; it wasn't as bad. But it still looked pretty bad, though.

"Ouch. That's gotta hurt," Dr. Endernyk said. "What happened to her?"
"She was thrown into a wall... really hard." Adam shivered, thinking of the memory.
"Oof."
"Yeah..."
Dr. Endernyk named the image "AllisonLeftLeg.img" and put it in the folder. He pulled up an email website and clicked a few things before typing. He put the two images in the email, and then sent it to whoever he was emailing to.

"Sending them to the surgeons, perhaps they can do something with them." He said.

"Hopefully." Adam said.
"Let's go back to the room," Douglas motioned to Allison. "She looks a little cold."

"Ok." Adam went to the table and picked up the unconscious friend. "Let's go."

Douglas said "thanks for helping" and walked to the door. He opened it and let Adam and Allison out into the hallway. He then walked after them and kept the walking speed with them.

"Soooo... That happened." Douglas said.
"Yep." Adam replied a little too sharply.
"Hey, don't be mad at me. We didn't know how broken they were."
"I didn't mean to say that as something mean, I'm just worried out of my mind."
"Aren't we all?"
"Yeah, I guess." Adam sighed.

They walked in silence for a moment. Douglas suddenly broke the awkward moment.

"Should we pay the three a visit?"
