Part One:

Sarah's P.O.V.

As I packed my bags, I realized I was gonna miss my parents and their house. I grabbed my last box and put it in my car. "Bye Mom, bye Dad," I said as I drove off with my parents in tears. I drove off to the country side of California... Just about in the middle of nowhere. I bought a small house on a ranch. I finally drive up to my new home, "what a beautiful house," I said to myself as I unlocked my new home. I grabbed my stuff out of the car and set it down on the staircase inside. I was so happy to have my own house... For my birthday, my parents bought me furniture for my house (my birthday was last month). I decided to go walk around the ranch. I walked by the tree line then I saw a path that went into the woods. I was curious to where it led to so I walked on that path until it ended at a cliff. At the bottom of the cliff was a river. I was amazed at the view. I pulled out my phone and took pictures of the amazing view that I saw. I noticed that it was getting dark so I headed back to the ranch. As I walked along the path back... I heard weird noises like someone was moaning in pain. I looked around and saw no one in sight. I went back to the cliff and looked around. Then I heard the moan again but louder. I looked down and saw something on the shore right on the waterline of the river. I ran down the side of the cliff to whatever was on the shore and noticed it was a man.
