Chapter 1: The Move

Elizabeth's POV= age 5

Nicklaus was fighting with daddy. " Why do we have to move?" Nicklaus said to dad. " Nick I know you don't want to move but it's better for all of us. We get to go to Ireland and it pays a lot." " Dad I don't care if it pays a lot, I want to stay in New York. All my friends are here and I like my school."Nicklaus said and looking about he was going to cry. " Nicklaus I'm sorry it's final and now go start packing up your things, your mother has put some boxes in your room." Daddy said to Nicklaus. Nicklaus went to his room to pack or to cry I think. " Lizzy go pack to and if u need help go ask Nick to help you. ok?" Daddy said to me. " Ok daddy" I said to daddy. I got up and ran up to my room. I sat down with a box and started to put my barbies in the box. Once I was done, I went to Nicklaus' room. " Nicky can you write dollys on the box." I asked Nicklaus. " Lizzy do u want to move?" Nicklaus asked me. " I don't know, I do what mommy and daddy tells me too." I told Nicklaus. " Ok let me write dollys on the box." Nicklaus and I went to my room and wrote dollys and "label" the boxes, that's what Nicky says it's called and not naming the boxes.

2 weeks later

Mommy, daddy, Nicklaus, and I were on a plane going to our new home. Daddy says our house is in a different country so that's why we can't drive there. Mommy said I had to go to sleep because we are going to be on the plane for a long time so I did. When I woke up mommy said we are in a new home now. I was happy because I will have a bigger room then before. Now we were in our new house. Mommy showed me my new room. It was big just like daddy said. It was pink with a big bed, a doll house for my dolls, it had a window with teddy bears sitting around it,and I saw all the boxes I packed. I was unpacking the box with the name dollys, so I can put them in the dollhouse , when daddy came." Lizzy in 3 weeks you will be starting kindergarten with all the kids here and your gonna have so much fun,ok baby." daddy said to me. "Ok daddy" "Baby do you like your new room?" daddy asked me. I ran up to daddy and hugged him. "I love my room. Thank you daddy. "I said to him and kissed him." I'm glad you love it baby, daddy did this room all by himself" " You did!" " Yes baby and now go to bed ok" daddy said putting me in my pjs and putting me in bed. " sweet dreams baby" "night daddy" I said as he walked out the door. It was raining outside and I was hearing thunder. I'm so scared. I got up and walked into nicklaus' room. He was sleeping, so I went up to him and tried to wake him up. " Lizzy what are u doing awake it's very late go back to bed." Nicklaus looked at me sleeply. " Nicky can I sleep in your room, I'm scared" I said crying to him. Nicklaus moved over, so I had room to get in the bed. I got in the bed and I cuddled with Nicklaus while I was crying softly. " It's okay Lizzy, you have me with you now. Your safe now." Nicklaus said to me. Nicklaus kept humming to me until I fell asleep and I did.
