The sun rose shining bright on her eyes waking her up, she realized that she was late for work. her father should Never know about her work or he would take her money and get drunk or use it in gambling.

so she hurriedly got up and she wore her broken shoes as she ran from the back side of her house.

As she neared the coffee shop she slowed down a little to catch her breath she sighed and got in, she saw the sweet old lady who had given her this job

She smiled sweetly towards her and went straight to the bathroom to change her clothes so she would get of this disgusting torn dress and broken shoes to a small and cute black and red dress with black pumps.

'Hello ma'am' Elizabeth said with a cheerful smile 'hello Liza' the old lady said calling Elizabeth with her Nickname that was given by her

'Sorry I didn't realize I over slept' Elizabeth apologized and the old lady just shook it off 'Elizabeth I have something for you' the old lady said nearing and handing over a big heavy book

'What's this?' Asked Elizabeth 'ohh... this is an account book remember I had mentioned it to you the other day?' The old lady said referring to the book

'So I have to keep track of all the money?" Elizabeth asked nervously 'yes remember I had taught you math?" The old lady asked 'yes I remember Ma'am' she smiled shyly and got back to work as customers started coming in.

The old lady had once seen Elizabeth crying out in the rain near her shop so the old lady decided to help her and when she found out what was the problem she decided to help her. She taught Elizabeth to read, write and calculate

Elizabeth was really poor so she never got a chance to go to school but the sweet old lady taught her everything and she was really thankful for.
